BTW, for those keeping a record (probably just me...) he got Glossop and Irlam on 21st March, but Hebden Bridge had still not been converted at that date.
Which is odd as I know of a member who got new style tickets from Hebden Bridge on the 20th!

Attached are some more examples of tickets, which had been ordered online and were collected from Pannal TVM. The travelcard and advance tickets aren't in the new design, nor is the web off-peak day return. The Zone 1 to Upminster ticket didn't print properly either.

Can't some of the text be moved down so there's never any chance of it being written right on the edge, or even over the orange strip?
And if it was necessary because some tickets will use up the whole height, why not make the orange strips a bit narrower?
ToDs aren't enabled in the new format yet, this should be ready soon. Travelcards have not yet had a new format designed, as that requires a joint agreement with TfL.
Exciting news - Today, at 92 of our stations we have launched new style ticketing machines which also allow you to view live train running information.
These #SmartTVMs will allow you to check which platform your train is leaving from and whether it has been delayed.
We are the first train operator in the UK to offer this facility and we would love to hear your feedback. Do you like it? Is there anything we could do to make it better? Would you like to see these machines at more of our stations?
Let us know!
Has this been forgotten about? I note a number of other locations, inlcuding Mauldeth Road have now been converted. However, despite trying there, at Glossop and at Burley Park, I have not got any new-style tickets when TODing.
Furthermore, I take it that northernman was referring earlier to this which Northern announced today:

Northern says that all their Parkeon machines are now using the new format.
I have seen most ticket types, including TOD collections, printed in the new format, except Advance tickets.
Very annoyingly the seat reservations for walk up ticket types are printed on separate coupons with the same old layout and 1 coupon per leg, despite the actual ticket being the new format, and as it isn't an Advance, has half the ticket blank - just where the reservation could be. This makes it even more confusing than before for people to get the right coupons handy for inspection.
There's starting to be lots of these tickets kicking around in Northern areas. They're certainly slowing up my ticket checks as I now have to read every minute detail rather than just glancing but hey ho, if it means a few more go for free who cares![]()

As the reservation isn't mandatory (and consequently doesn't need to be inspected at all) I would support this approach. It avoids creating hassle for those who get a different train.
...but I just can't work out what all these funny circles and diamonds on them mean!"
To which TOCs did the breif supposedly go? I take it not all of them as would be most sensible...
From an earlier thread, isn't it just circle = "check railcard held" and diamond = "check it's really a child".
Or something like that. Has anyone seen any different symbols? Perhaps they could just print 'Railcard' or 'Child' in the same place, unless it really is a cunning plan to catch out some types of fare evasion...
