Hi all,

I am due to start the CSA position at TFL next month and wanted to find out from existing fix term staff what they have been told in regards to whether their contract will be extended or made permanent.

I am aware this recruitment campaign has been on-going for over 6 months and so am hoping there is some fix termers who have worked a few months and have something to share - heard off the grapevine/genuine offers etc.?

I guess I have been naïve - in happy that I have secured the position but now realised 12 months will flyby and there could be big decisions to be made.

I've now come across the Fit for future programme and guess after the 12 months, fix termers only realistic option would be to apply for the CSA2 roles (@ 23k) whilst the dust settles with the restructure.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Absolutely nothing of any substance at the moment. Lots of rumours but nothing more. Sorry it's not more positive, but if it's any consolation there are a lot in the same boat.
