Haha thanks. It's the waiting that's the killer.

The day itself. Is it just the one interview or a couple. Trying to second guess why we are needed 9-5

Hi all
I was just wondering if anyone else has had this email, basically skipping the phone interview stage.
I can only assume that with the amount of applicants they're trying to speed up the process.
I'll try to attach the email pic...
I got the same thing. Assessment day in July 6th! So far away!

Hey guys, just a quick question to all who have been succesful in stage 3.. I completely my stage 3 today and ive literally got no clue as to how well i may have done. Part 1 of VSE i made no errors. Part 2 about 5/6 errors. And part 3 (both tests together) i reckon roughly about 8 errors. Im just wondering has anyone else performed roughly to this standard and got through or were u all next to perfect?
Any advice comments would be great i'm going out my mind here. And also how long did u wait for response after the deadline?

I waited 3 weeks so hang in there. Got my email to say I've got through to assessment center. So nervous this is my first ever application for train driver so haven't got a clue what to expect on the day!

Hi, im not sure to be honest. I used the laptop pad as I didnt have a mouse so I know I made 1 silly mistake in the first part because of that! I know I missed a couple on the third part. They dont let you know how many errors you made only that your through to the next part.
Good luck hope you get through. :)

Anyone else at assessment 1 on 12th June?

Hope you don't have to do Teocc.

Thankfully I just had to re-do the Group Bourdon which I passed with an enhanced score, I then had to do the DFFT which I didn't have to do last time so it was a little scary. I messed up on it but still managed to pass with an enhanced score so I'm extremely happy. Now onto MMI and Line Manager interview.

We had 12 people in our assessment 1 group and when I left there was only 2 of us left. Good luck everyone xx

So have you past it? Or will they be letting you know? Do you mean 2 people left out of the 12 by the time you left?

Hi, I had previously passed assessment 1 but MTR require enhanced test scores so I had to resit the Group Bourdon and I had to take the DFFT which I didn't take last time. I passed both of those so I was sent home with a date for my MMI and Line Manager interview.

While I was there, most of our group were sent home. About two thirds got the national score but not high enough for MTR. I don't know how the other candidate did on the rest of the tests after I left. If he passed then that's just 2 of us out of 12 people. It's scary when you see it like that.

Did you get 2minutes for each page for the group bourdon test? How many lined did you finish in that time if you were allocated that time. You last message has started to worry me lol, don't really want to mess this stage up as really want to get in and be successful.

Thanks

For those of us still waiting on stage 2 results from over 2 weeks ago, I emailed HR earlier and got this response :

Thank you for your email.

Feedback for the stage 2 test is given approximately 10 working days after the deadline for that part of the test (not 10 days after the test is submitted). Please bear with us and you should receive feedback shortly.

If you have any more questions or concerns please feel free to get in touch.

Kind regards,

The Resourcing Team

MTR Crossrail

So......looks like more sitting tight and waiting.
