I see that there will be a strike on Sunday and am curious about whether or not it will effect my journey.

I will be travelling from Southampton to Cardiff central. Due to engineering works the Portsmouth to Cardiff train wasn't running anyway, I'll be on the cross country train from soton to reading so that part won't be affected. What I'm confused by is that first great Western say the train between reading and cardiff (a London service I believe) is "only" running once per hour but as far as I can tell that's normal for Sunday anyway? Is anyone able to confirm this? The only difference I can see is that the last two trains of the day won't run but I'm assuming this won't have a huge effect on me as I'll be travelling in the morning.

Usually on a Sunday it's an hourly Paddington - Swansea service.
