Northern £10 voucher offer

I saw that this offer was out once again - having not bothered the last few times, I'm seriously thinking about giving it a go.

Starting station is Scarborough assuming I stick exclusively to Northern and don't invest in any other tickets with TPE, etc.

Guessing it is a 'travel after 9:30' condition (can't find the T&Cs at the moment) - so it's the 10:00 to Hull (arrive 11:28). Not sure if there are evening off-peak restrictions on this rover? (Looks like there is ) Coming back, again with Northern, it will have to be the 17:41 from Sheffield [connecting with 17:41 from Hull in case I find a different train to Hull rather than from Sheffield] (arriving 19:15)

If we have to look at off-peak, then my last train would be 14:41?!? This gets me home at 17:42... - is this correct, can anyone check the ruling on these rover tickets please?

So - having got to Hull, potentially only having 3 hours, I wonder I can do in this small window? First train looks to be 12:19 to Doncaster, then to Sheffield and back to Scarborough, but assuming the off-peak bit is correct, there's a distinct lack of excitement! Ideas are more than welcome!!

Looking ahead to 2017, does anyone know if another £10 voucher promotion is planned?
Also what would be the likely dates?
I've been glancing at the Northern 50% sale and thinking of a speculative purchase.

I've not heard of anything in the local papers yet. If it comes out in the local papers again I can help you out if you want some tokens if your not in the Northern area.

Thank you but I can get tokens. I work weekends and from Hull it can be a bit tricky.
For example I can't reach Manchester before 12:00. I was wondering if the promotion was roughly the same dates each year. Then I could look up some 50% off Advance fares to give me a flying start.
