Around Most, does anyone know if these are still operating?

This report dates from May and slightly further West, best I can do. ISTR seeing more recent photos but can't trace the relevant thread.
I've learnt what little I know about CZ from Drehscheibe, if you can manage/guess enough German to register and ask in English, someone is bound to know.
A number of the pictures are taken at Nove Sedlo rather than Most. Both places have large lignite mines and are not that far apart.
I was at Nove Sedlo in February 2015. The railway system is very extensive and a lot of it can be accessed by public roads without any problem. There were a good many 127's operating at that time as well as various classes of diesel. I would imagine that that situation continues to be the case.
I visited Most on a university trip, lovely people but a total dump - communist decay at its finest! The scale of the lignite mines is incredible though.
That sounds great thank you, we visited Most last week, the loco depot which only had 4 on shed and is mainly used as wagon shops now, but we also took a tram to Litvinov, but did have time to check out the area really, I`m back in February however
Hi Shredder
According to my Platform 5 book there are 32 operated by Coal Services and 26 by Sokolovska Uhelna. I've never seen any but they're supposed to be still in use.
I visit Czechia regularly as I have a Czech wife and we have a house near Prague. I'll be going back at Christmas and will go for another trip round the CD Cargo depot at Usti while I'm over there. On my last visit there were 127 locos on shed.
If you ever want a chat let me know, I'm in Sandbach by the way.
Oh thanks very much, yes I still have a number of them listed in Robert Prichards book. I did Usti a few month ago last night, an incredible depot always very friendly there, I`ll be checking out Sokolovska Uhelna and Most again in February. Do you go on any of Russells NFP Grumpy trips in Czech?
I didn't know anyone did trips until I saw a post on WNXX by Schwartz about a trip in February which looks interesting. I do wagons as well so it's always good to try to get around a bit.
In the UK I'm a regular at Casey Lane in Crewe.
