No worries. They would be a reduction in though at Hengrove due to the change in 76.Ignore me I read it all wrong, long day at work lol

I'd take the opposite approach - I can't see many normal passengers being worried that the 76 won't run beyond Henbury. With that stretch having the 1 (and either the 3 or 4), with Southmead having the 2, and Gloucester Rd the 75/78, there really are plenty of alternatives. Not a major one though, personally I'm not that happy that the 76 is getting cut back, it is well used between Henbury and Cribbs so there will be plenty of upset people but yes there are other services, so it could be worse. I wonder if this is more to do with Metrobus works at Cribbs Causeway and thus lack of stop space, compared to consolidating resources.
Looks like news about the changes to the 50 have already become public. It already looks like these changes are going to be unpopular. Why? Because the frequency of the 50 has been reduced to 30 minutes, and the 50a will not serve Hengrove and Whitchurch, instead being curtailed at Airport Road and heading straight back to the depot. These changes have been made apparently due to Metrobus, in which one the routes will serve Bamfield Road which the 50 also serves. However Metrobus will be no good to many people as it will not serve huge swathes in the area that the 50 does (and also the route of the Metrobus route apparently has also changed so it won't go up up Bamfield anymore).
Good to hear. How is the 'exceling' of buses coming along btw? It looks to be almost done now - I rarely see an urban liveried one in Bristol. The fire damaged E400 33750 should be back and about soon and heading to Weston. It's almost ready in orange.
Not far now, still a few to goGood to hear. How is the 'exceling' of buses coming along btw? It looks to be almost done now - I rarely see an urban liveried one in Bristol.

Dart 42948 running in a unbranded express yourself livery
Weston currently has 31 E400s plus 33750 when it turns up making 32. Quite a few of these are now orange, I reckon around 18/19 with sone running unbranded. Plus the 3 Streetlites. It certainley looks striking and impressive when you see a row of them in Bristol Bus Stn occupying bays 9/10/11/12. I think some investment should be made to replicate the brand onto the bays. Some customers still remain confused asking if they are First. It will be interesting if the vehicles operated by Abus on the X8 will be so treated as well.Good to hear. Hopefully when 33415 reaches its place in the queue, it will have it's heating sorted. I went on it on an X2 Monday and upstairs there was no heat at all. It was like it all last winter as well.In eXcel orange (20)
33412, 33413, 33414, 33416, 33419, 33506, 33508, 33550, 33560, 33566, 33571, 33666, 33667, 33750, 33827, 33828, 33829, 47551, 47552, 47553
Indeed it has. Travelwest already has the details online. Wessex are to drop the 51 from Court Farm Road and Belland Drive too.Looks like news about the changes to the 50 have already become public.
Is it possible that the 50 and 50a are in fact a circular with 50a trips becoming 50 at the depot and vice versa?Indeed it has. Travelwest already has the details online. Wessex are to drop the 51 from Court Farm Road and Belland Drive too.

Thanks for all the updates. I agree it does look really good, particularly, in my opinion, on the streetlites. Not far to go now, and hopefully express yourself stuff will also be gone soon. Wonder what the next big rebrand project is.... hopefully Bath!!Weston currently has 31 E400s plus 33750 when it turns up making 32. There are still examples floating around in both Urban and Express Yourself.
Maybe as they started that on the 5 route B7RLEs and 1 Optare Solo. Thanks for all the updates. I agree it does look really good, particularly, in my opinion, on the streetlites. Indeed, that seems likely. I had envisioned a style similar to that in Bath, but perhaps in red, but that is pure speculation. I reckon they will do it though at some point.Maybe as they started that on the 5 route B7RLEs and 1 Optare Solo.
There was talk of branding etc. for Weston Town Services to compliment the Excel country fleet. No idea what the plan is though.
Does Henbury really need that many services to Cribbs Causeway? As things stand Service 76 is one of 4 routes between Henbury and Cribbs and one of 3 routes via. Station Road. Not a major one though, personally I'm not that happy that the 76 is getting cut back, it is well used between Henbury and Cribbs so there will be plenty of upset people but yes there are other services, so it could be worse. The 2 doesn't really serve Henbury.Does Henbury really need that many services to Cribbs Causeway? As things stand Service 76 is one of 4 routes between Henbury and Cribbs and one of 3 routes via. Station Road.

Well there was a rumour that Weston town was going into a livery similar to Badgerline, but I think this has been talked down now.It would be nice to see something green or yellow based. These colours would have foundations in history, but yellow would compliment the orange on the Excels.
Last year, that was the plan until another operator introduced buses onto a route painted yellow and green.Well there was a rumour that Weston town was going into a livery similar to Badgerline, but I think this has been talked down now.
So you are saying, that it is still in the pipeline, just a little different to planned?Last year, that was the plan until another operator introduced buses onto a route painted yellow and green.
I seen the design of the proposed livery and it looked very smart. Based on the livery of years gone buy with a modern twist.
Last I heard was that it wasn't going to happen anymore and the designs would be used elsewhere in the group. I seen the designs in the September and the plans were shelved in November. So you are saying, that it is still in the pipeline, just a little different to planned?
