Some queries for Wednesday 6th June please:

66 on "473U" the 0925 Southampton - Garston through MKC around 1430 66512 on 4M58
66 on Felixstowe - Hams Hall (?) through MKC around 1438 - 66717 on 4M23 Felixstowe-Hams Hall
66 on a Down I/modal through H Hempstead around 1444 (can't trace any likely suspect) 66955 4M88 Felixstowe to Trafford Park - went through Bourne End (right next to Hemel Hempstead) at 14:45

There were 2 x 68 on a Down Nuclear Flasks at Wembley around 2015. I think they were 68018 & 68030. Can anyone confirm? Yes - they were on 6M95 Dungeness CEGB to Crewe Coal Sidings

Many thanks for that.

The train through Crewe around 2150 was the vans and Jaguar "containers" from the sidings by Stobart between Widnes & Ditton rather than from Halewood. (Steel from a Warrington site ... I think!)

It was the 1146 Ditton Foundry Lane to Dollands Moor which recesses at Warrington for hours, but appears to have passed Crewe at around 2152. Loco anybody? :D

Based on that description I reckon it was DB Red 66152 on 6O16 11:46 Ditton Foundry Lane AHC English Welsh & Scottish Railway to Dollands Moor Sidings

The train goes to Arpley for a 7+ hour lay over. The system picked it up going to Arpley, but no reports after that - however it's timed to go through Crewe 21:52 and the description of the vans fits this working.

TOPS had it as 37175, but reported by a Raicam user that this wasn't correct and it was 37099.

Evening all. Hope I am providing all the correct information here.

I am compiling a TT for the Exeter layout on SimSig. The timetable is based around the schedules of 13th June 2018 and I am having trouble with some of the evening trains at Taunton, namely the ones marked with black dots in the attachment.

2C87, which runs from Cardiff Central, was adding to the troubles but I have added a move, numbered 5Z30, which is not scheduled in the list and which provides for 2C87 to reverse at the west end of Taunton and work into Platform 4 prior to departing at 2035 as 2E30: therefore I have put lines through the train numbers. However RTT tells me nothing as to what is supposed to happen so at least one platform clash looks inevitable.

I am wondering, therefore, if someone with the relevant information to hand has any idea where 1V64, which arrives from Edinburgh at 2016hrs, is supposed to reverse to get into Platform 4? North end (using signal 604) or South end (using either signal 617 or 619)? SimSig screendump and RTT information attached.

You don't need 5Z30; 2C87 and 2E30 arrive and depart from Platform 2 (like, for instance, 2C83 and 2U28 earlier).

Despite what RTT indicates 1V64 usually arrives at P3 on its route to Plymouth. The ECS would leave P3 westbound ....

There seem to be many ECS movements missing from the current timetable when they're within station boundaries.

True re. 1V64. Doesn't help that 2C87 is shown on RTT for 13th June as occupying Platform 2 and that Platform 3 is taken by 1C62 before 1V64 arrives. I kept watch on the OTT live maps and ended up none the wiser as 1V64 took Platform 3 after arriving late. 2C87, for its part, did an ECS to Platform 5 before leaving with 2E30 but no headcode turned up on the OTT live map for that ECS.

1V64 did also do an ECS before leaving with 1M80 but the only headcode for that got put into Platform 4 and, rather unhelpfully, said "191U" instead of a 5xxx
