Cant be many tridents left at Blantrye , still a few on the 21 . Didnt they move to (Back) to caley?

dont know what’s gone yet but 69014-16/19/21/34-37 are all on the transfer sheet to cally and 47618-47628 in the other direction.

69015 69019 69021 69036 and 66282 are going today the rest are due to go but it won’t be this weekend possibly won’t happen until the new buses arrive which are due to launch on the 23rd all going well.

Good to see OV getting newer stock just a shame on the vehicles.

So really within the next few weeks I believe Overtown will be the first depot in Glasgow to have a mostly modern fleet if I am not mistaken?

As all the b7/b10s should be away which will leave

52/05/06 plate darts

09/62 plate e200
63/14 plate streetlights
65/68 plate e200 mmc's (possibly 19 plate e200mmc's if first wait till march and re-register them)

And then the SPT vehicles which is 15 plate optare solo? As I think fiats are now off fleet? or will be very soon

54401 is still in Overtown but has been off the road for nearly a year I would say.

Also I would assume some if not all of the darts will go once the new buses arrive as they are mostly used on the 254.

There has been talk of the darts going to Dumbarton to retire some of their B10s but nothing confirmed yet on that.

I think the darts coming from down south are doing that.

OV probably will keep a few I guess as spare buses. How many spare vehicles does Overtown have for breakdowns etc. Can't be many ?

266 no doubt will see the darts as don't think Overtown will have enough streetlights to cover it's pvr

There will be 15 streetlites at Overtown after this weekend with more to come I can’t see all of the darts staying at overtown maybe a couple but not them all.

I always thought it was an odd move to have newer stock on the 1 then incorporate unrefurbishes B9TLs. These buses are tired inside now and were at the time. I thought they’d have replaced this by now given the success story of ‘the one’. They should order some E400XLBs for the peak workings and free up some B9TLs for other routes.

PVR is 59, not sure exactly how many buses the depot has

A 500 MMC is a better bet as they can be chosen with a powered rear axle, improving manoeuvrability and reducing tire scrub.

As per @lastbus the following did move last night

4 b7s and 1 b10 Overtown to Caley
5 streetlights to Overtown

Guessing these will be on the 266 today?

If a potential order was large enough and an operator was determined thats what they wanted ADL would build.


I believe it would be a very simple request given that RHD Enviro 500's are built in Britain and exported to hongkong for KMB.

First e200mmc has reported to have arrived. No mention of route branding but should be for 242. Not sure if 254 will receive branding.
