Hi all,

Just a heads up here. From September the 1st (Sunday) we're going to be trialling a new scoring system for the game in an attempt to reduce the 'deadlock' period for the penultimate post in a leg. What will happen is the penultimate move will score 40% of the overall game points with the final move scoring 60%, as opposed to the current system where the last move scores all the points. This will take effect for any moves played beginning September 1st.
This is a system we used in the International version of the game (now ended) and seemed to work alright so we hope you'll welcome the change here.

Cheers,

FQ.

To ensure continuation of the existing current links to previous score sheet tables that are currently shown on the second posting of this quiz, do I take it that the forum quizmaster team will still continue to publish links as before?

Who is now responsible for the updating of the RED SECTION information on the second posting on the quiz, which still bears the username of Darren R, who left this website many months ago now. Perhaps a change of username in the second posting would be useful.

On the subject of the red section, I believe the Wherry Lines which are mentioned are now open.
