What's stopping the new logo from being the one on custhelp?
Nothing and I reckon it probably is!

Judging by the colours on there maybe an orange and black themed livery returning to Glasgow a la Strathclyde 80s and 90s!It seems so.
The other thread has found https://avantiwestcoast.custhelp.com/ - this is almost certainly a genuine leak. Looks quite good. Bet it won't stay up for long!
Personally I think this would be good. The Pendolinos look very classy with shiny white carriages and the silver doors.I think the Pendolinos will stay largely white, with a logo at each end rather than a new look along the whole train. It looks like it's going to be a South-West-North triangular logo, which I guess encompasses a lot of the route but not all. I think a simple arrow logo would have been better pointing west <-
There was one at Edinburgh today that still had the Virgin logo. I couldn't tell you what the number was, but it was ready to form the 16:52 to Euston (9M60).Are their actually any pendolinos left with virgin branding on the outside?

Are their actually any pendolinos left with virgin branding on the outside? I have seen 6 pendolinos at or passing through stafford today. All were debranded
Now that we know the name, any takers on whether the sets will keep their names? Will Virgin Pride become "Pride"? My expectations is they'll be replaced. Either with something to do with progress rather than history or something Italian that not many people will know.
I would have thought all names will be replaced.
I hope they stick with some sort of City names as now but in a different format, maybe with there Italian twin.
Also names with some meaning to the routes the trains will be travelling.
Maybe they put the logos at the end of the trains? That could work.I really hope that isn’t the new logo, or at least there is more to the branding than just putting that on each end of a plain white livery! I’m sure it’ll grow on me, but it seems very plain and certainly nothing worthy of all the hype of making a big deal of announcing it in the way suggested?
Seems likely, I think they are doing a similar thing with the class 350s.It may be the case that they put the logos at each end to begin with, and paint a fuller livery when the Pendolinos go for their full refurbishment?
All sounds equally as dross as the Virgin garbage.
Hopefully they'll sort out the 390 interiors!
Does any normal passenger even notice a name halfway down the train?
Probably not but it's usually plastered all over the internal areas. Regardless of how members feel on this forum, brand actually does make a difference, the world is full of it.
Moving on.... I'd rather they sort the interior out.
Sorry, I meant the naming rather than the operator branding.
Considering https://www.westcoastpartnership.co.uk/ is now using that font & colour scheme I think it’s pretty definite.
As of 10 November this is giving a 'server not found' error, so perhaps it was made live by mistake.
Avanti is the name of the new trains, had confirmation from Virgin Staff yesterday, think someone was having a play around to trip people up
