Does anyone know how many cl 156 have transferred from GA to EMR up to the present
406 has just got back from PRM. It has always been a EMR unit. I think 416 is currently at Derby in the shed.yeah 2 have so far, 156406 is one of them but I don't know what the second one is.

Yes. 156409 has already been remembered 156909.Is it true that they are being renumbered in the 1569xx range?
Thank you.Yes. 156409 has already been remembered 156909.
They can't be coupled to EMR units due to different public address equipment. What's the renumbering in aid of, if anything?
Are the ex-GA 156s going to be repainted? They can't be coupled to EMR units due to different public address equipment.
Yes, one has already (156909)Are the ex-GA 156s going to be repainted?
Thank you, can't wait to see what it looks like.Yes, one has already (156909)

I have to say, I quite like that livery. Here's a photo (not my photo):

I think I prefer it to the livery used on 222104.I agree, looks pretty nice!

This is correct, They can't be attached to any existing EMR 15x units. What? Is that correct?
Flipping heck, can't believe that you lose all your flexibility to schedule units together over something so trivial.
And when you say EMR units do you mean just 156s or 153s and 158s as well?
Does that mean that, in theory, they'd be able to work in multiple with the 170s EMR will receive? They can couple to class 153 but not 156/8 apparently. They have class 170 PA and call for aid interfaces which aren't compatible with the ex EMT fleet.
The call for aid feature on them is hilarious. Never mind not sounding in another unit if activated, they don't always sound in both cabs of the unit concerned & are not linked to the brakes. They've not worked properly since the units where refurbished & the tacky system installed. They can couple to class 153 but not 156/8 apparently. Only problem is the white is more susceptible to dirt and grime.Me too, looks a lot smarter.
