Yes, the 745/1s do.Do the Stansted units have additional luggage racks?

Seems so. One starts with the 06:48 ex-Nrw & the other the 07:40. Both are SX.What is the current diagram for the 745s that are in service? Is it reliable enough to be added to the useful diagram sticky thread in the other sub-forum?
I thought i read someone reported 745s running on Saturdays now - unless it was STP?Seems so. One starts with the 06:48 ex-Nrw & the other the 07:40. Both are SX.
Yes I've heard that but not sure how reliable it is just yet.I thought i read someone reported 745s running on Saturdays now - unless it was STP?
Also depends on engineering works which in the case of the main line is no through trains to London until April.Yes I've heard that but not sure how reliable it is just yet.
Of course. Lots more of that throughout 2020.Also depends on engineering works which in the case of the main line is no through trains to London until April.

Does anyone know when 745107 arrived? Not seen that one reported anywhere - it must have snuck in!Richard Clinnick just tweeted that 745109 has arrived
Sorry but I've never heard of anything like that.Cheers for that! What happened to keeping the summer clear of works?

Are they in service today? If so which diagrams?003 and 005 have been accepted into service.

Ideally you need diagrams that balance, the two so far start and finish at Crown Point. With another pair available you could have a Crown Point to Orient Way diagram and v.v. if sufficient Liverpool St crews are now trained. And if only 3 out of 4 units available one of the first diagrams could go back to a Mk3 temporarily. All very fluid.
Liverpool St drivers will only sign 745s.Agree that it seems more logical to return one of the NC to NC diagrams back to Mark III if only 3 Class 745s come out to play, punters might be upset though. I would say Ipswich diagrams should be first as opposed to those that go to Orient Way as those drivers sign Class 755s. Do any London crews actually sign Class 745s / 755s yet?

No they have special dispensation as have no diagrammed work with 755s so may go years without doing power changeovers or operating in diesel mode.I assume they automatically sign both because the cabs are the same. That’s certainly the case at Colchester where we only drive 755 but officially sign both.
To be honest they are much easier to drive & operate than bimodes. They have an extra 8-9 vehicles but that doesn't really mean anything & there are no cameras or responsibility for closing doors ufn.Makes sense. I doubt I’ll ever drive a 745 despite signing them. Wouldn’t mind having a go though.
Yeah I had 010 on it's very first day. Was so comfortable with them I stuck my trainee in the chair on the second trip. Wondered what on earth id been fussing about the night beforeI know some people are a bit uncomfortable about signing them without driving them but as you say it’s just a longer train and you stop at the end of the platform as we currently do with 12 cars.

Does that mean that guards will be introduced on the West Anglia line when 745s start doing airport services? Or do Liverpool Street drivers only work the mainline?
From what I understand Liverpool St Senior Conductors will route learn to Stansted so the 745s can be introduced on this route. How long degraded working will continue with this fleet is anybody's guess.Does that mean that guards will be introduced on the West Anglia line when 745s start doing airport services?
