No doubt worth a look for those who are interested in getting in as trainees, however I think they need to provide some more details with regard to qualified drivers' conditions if they want lots of good applicants:

Union arrangements?
Salary?
Pension? Most of the other open access operators aren't in the RPS.
PRIV? Most of the open access operators don't seem to offer this either.
DCO? After all the 80xs are equipped for it.
Roster? I know roster information isn't always easy to find but ASLEF Company Information usually gives a very basic idea.

There's probably quite a few more to be fair, plus they're open access, so not the same level of job security as franchise/concession operators.

Definitely more information needed. Undoubtedly good opportunities here for a career but as mentioned being an OAO has many risks for any potential employee and if as much information as possible can be posted on here the better as its not like applying for your normal TOC as lets say LNER or XC.
I dont know how it works but with this new OAO coming on the scene how likely is it that it could be a massive failure, running trains one week then the next going under, or do they have to provide an X amount of funds/duration in order to establish themselves. Like i say being an employee one min then on the street the next is a massive gamble. Or is that a little extreme??
