Just a heads up, 37025 has made its way up to Rhymney Sidings from Cardiff Canton between Tir Phil and Pontlottyn. I assume it would be there ready for when they resume training again on the 769s?

Long shot, anyone know when the 769s will enter service with TFW? I’m guessing not May now.

Nobody knows, not even TFW I should think. For a start, Driver training can't take place because because a driver and instructor cannot both be in the cab at the same time due to social distancing.

So realistically probably not until December timetable change. Anyone know about the GWR ones?

769008 is planned to be out next week, its had some work done on its wheelsets.
Doubt it will with current lockdown can't have more than one person in a cab and bringing them up risks making people ignore the lockdown

That is what was said yesterday so should still be up to date. It said they are proving runs rather than training so shouldn't need 2 in the cab for that

Even though 37025 is assumed to be at Rhymney, 37418 is currently en route from Landore supposedly as a 769 Thunderbird.
