Just a heads up, 37025 has made its way up to Rhymney Sidings from Cardiff Canton between Tir Phil and Pontlottyn. I assume it would be there ready for when they resume training again on the 769s?
I'm wondering if something has changed. A Class 37 just went up the line.

Long shot, anyone know when the 769s will enter service with TFW? I’m guessing not May now.
So realistically probably not until December timetable change. Anyone know about the GWR ones? From what I e read online some restrictions might start to be lidted from 11th may but I think most probably wont be till june so earliest in my opinion would be September

Which summer of what year?Modern railways latest issue says the first of gers 769s has been completed and northern should have theirs by may and tfw should get the rest during the summer
FYI some runs should be happening next week
769008 is planned to be out next week, its had some work done on its wheelsets. There were runs timed out last week and the week before but they didn't run.
Doubt it will with current lockdown can't have more than one person in a cab and bringing them up risks making people ignore the lockdown769008 is planned to be out next week, its had some work done on its wheelsets.
That is what was said yesterday so should still be up to date. It said they are proving runs rather than training so shouldn't need 2 in the cab for thatDoubt it will with current lockdown can't have more than one person in a cab and bringing them up risks making people ignore the lockdown
Even though 37025 is assumed to be at Rhymney, 37418 is currently en route from Landore supposedly as a 769 Thunderbird.
