Sheffield is also a nine platform station, served by four train operating companies, with services to seven major cities (London, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds and York).

Just a gentle reminder that successive posts should have at least a little variation in their station links. :)

Ormskirk is another station that has two consecutively numbered platforms from the same platform face.

Agreed. I didn't realise I'd done it there but I don't find it particularly imaginative when players pick another station on a stretch of line.

Bidston is another station that sees Merseyrail services and diesel services.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
Think you may have confused these with the settlements association quiz, as neither of these are rail related..

My posting of Saunderton, a currently open railway station, was indeed subjected to an arson attack by suffragettes in March 1913, that caused great damage to the station buildings and Northfield railway station was also subjected to an arson attack in 1913 by the same movement.

If this is not a rail-related posting, then explain to me why it is not.

Looks like @_toommm_ has struck through his posting of Stoke Mandeville so we can continue from Saunderton.

Saunderton was also made subject to an arson attack by Suffragettes in 1913.
Warwick Parkway is also served by Chiltern
