Peterborough is 7 also???
I don't know. I haven't had a clear answer as to whether to count differently branded trains separately. The original post listed both "Great Northern" and "Govia Thameslink Railway (TL and GN)", which didn't help that much. As such, I just went with one option.

I can seet that the distinction between those two brands is a bit less useful now that "Thameslink" trains cover most of the "Great Northern" network.
Does the CS Sleeper go through Peterborough when on diversion? Would that count?
The schedule I checked only ever had it going through Rugby. The only real diversion I can find is this route through the West Midlands. They have used other lines out of London in the past, but I don't know if they've gone all the way to Peterborough.

Without hopefully going too off topic, what alternative routeings has the Caledonian Sleeper used in the recent past between Scotland and London, in particular when terminating other than at London Euston. :?:

It’s done:
- Edinburgh to kings cross Via the normal east coast route. I can’t remember if it’s been via the Durham coast, the York avoiding line, the joint lines via Lincoln, or via Cambridge or the Hertford loop
- Edinburgh to Euston via Newcastle, York, Peterborough, and then the line from Finsbury Park to Wembley, where it reversed to get to Euston
- via Birmingham International, Bescot instead of the Trent valley
- via the Northampton loop
- via Manchester Piccadilly and the chat moss line
- many routes south of Glasgow central and also between Glasgow and edinburgh
- Perth to Kirkcaldy (for the Inverness portion)
- using Glasgow queen street high level for one weekend
- Inverness to Aberdeen

Quite A lot for such a small operation. I am sure there will be more!
