Hey good luck,

I have been in a talent pool for SouthEastern for over 4 years, I've passed tests online, passed an assessment centre, been interviewed and passed the interview stage and yet can't find a position for me yet!

Talent pools are tough, it's whoever scores highest 1st, so on so forth and can become a war of attrition knowing somewhere in the future an opportunity will arise.

Hi Vicki86, EMR's recruitment process -- like many companies atm -- is running excruciatingly slowly due to the virus. I have an application that has been stalled after passing the initial video interview stage since March. You will hear back one way or the other eventually. Good luck!

Erm you might want to give them a little email if you haven’t. What depot is this for?

Without speaking specifically for EMR alot of railway jobs are taking a very long time to process.

The Covid19 epidemic has massively impacted on most if not all HRs & recruitment teams - I've had job applications pending since March & April without so much as a snippet of an update.

I do think things will begin to pick up again in weeks to come but you need to be patient. Good luck with your application.

Hi Vicki, did they advertise recently then? They did a recruitment campaign for talent pool last year and I dipped, however I was meant to be on the notification list whereby notified when they started to recruit again...

It's despatch/gateline/customer services, I get emails every couple of months confirming my status in the process.

I applied for that emr talent pool as well, haven't heard anything back yet either. It closed on 25th june so I'd give it another while yet given the current situation.
