Would be interested to know of any memories anyone has or the history of Wandsworth Common station. It's a favourite of mine-a very rural feel despite the fact the City skyline can be viewed from the roadbridge that covers the station throat. It feels like a lonely station-particuarly on a Sunday night.

I can't find much online, but in case you're not aware of them, the NLS Map collection has a number of historic OS maps which at largest scale show the track layout. This is from 1895, there are other eras as well.

Fascinating, because it shows the preparations for quadrupling the line.
