That sounds interesting - which manufacturer is that from? I think DJ Models might have made (or announced) one?My 74

Ah cool - that sounds like quite a project but fun to do I'd expect.
Re-reading my response, it reads as though I was trying to tell you something you already knew with them not having motors - sorry!

That’s a nice haul! You evidently like your 66’s!My latest acquisition are 2 Hattons GBRF liveried 66's (66727 & 66731), 66743 in Belmond Pullman livery, and 2 Oxford Rail mk 3 carriages.
That sounds lovely - have you had any issues with the Hattons 66s?My latest acquisition are 2 Hattons GBRF liveried 66's (66727 & 66731), 66743 in Belmond Pullman livery, and 2 Oxford Rail mk 3 carriages.
What livery are your Mk3’s?
Very nice, I do like the Night Riviera 57’s, they look very smart. Not had chance to run them yet Peter, but, i have seen internet videos on how to fix them if I do.
They are intercity livered RFM's. They are going to get resprayed into FGW dynamic lines blue and GWR green for use in my Night Riviera sets.
Im waiting for the end of the year when hornby re- release the sleeper carriages, so I can complete my GWR liveried rake. I already have 3 of the dynamic lines sleeper cars. I also have a dynamic lines TGS (I know it's the wrong carriage), and GWR TGS, to represent the BUO.
My 57/6's are
57601 in Porterbrook livery.
57602 in fgw green with gold stripe.
57603 in current GWR livery.
57604 in lined Brunswick green livery.
57605 in in fgw blue livery.
Ah OK - they are nice models from what I've seen so here's hoping you won't have to fix themNot had chance to run them yet Peter, but, i have seen internet videos on how to fix them if I do.
Not bought anything new for ages but got a new loco yesterday (Minitrains), not really needed but not many seem left available of this little loco. When you model a niche gauge you sometimes have to act quick!

HO9 but very similar obviously. What a nice thing. Is that 009 gauge?
Well my bachmann mk2a's in network southeast livery came today. I tried to post a photo, but, the site wouldn't let me. I have 4 suitable locos for those carriages. A lima class 50 in large logo blue, gj churchward, in gwr lined green, 47701 in network southeast livery and 47706 in unbranded scotrail livery with NSE flashes.

A selection of Maunsell coaches from Kernow's sale - unfortunately missing the blood-and-custard compo, so my 3-set has a Mk1 compo until Lancing returns the missing coach
Oh, and my custom-built control panel has finally arrived and works a treat.
Sometime next week...Any chance of some photos @30907? I’d love to see the control panel.

Sometime next week...
A couple of arrivals from eBay recently, with a couple more to come.
First up was a rake of 3 lighted Pullmans (queen of Scots coach pack I think) to replace my triang and railroad ones. The rake is now fully lit and looks rather good! Can't quite make it out in the photo thoughView attachment 101408
Next up was a rake of 3 Mainline MK1 SK's for a bargain at under £30. Makes my MK1 rake up to 8 coaches, currently working behind the 76

Anyone know roughly when Mainline MK1's were produced? I think they have outlasted their guarantee by a fair bit!

Well all the carriages came last week. I now have 2 mk3's in fag packet livery, enough mk2's in fag packet livery, to do a day and night service. The bachmann mk2a's are enough for my bachmann 47's, and my lima class 50.
Picked up a running Lima 101 in NSE for my latest micro layout project (NSE micro diesel terminus). Needs a bit of work on the windscreen wipers, but is pretty good still!
