By pure chance I will be on the London Eye when the tour reaches Charing Cross. I will attempt some photos.

What is the coach letter diagrams e.g coach c?
From WNXX:
"Coach A leading from Victoria. Coaches B and F will be the motor coaches (may be lettered out of sequence depending on orientation of the unit)."

So coach C will either be the 2nd or 3rd coach from the front depending which way the unit is

Coach C & G are designated accessible coaches so the orientation of the unit will depend on whether it’s A-B-C-D E-F-G-H or A-C-B-D E-G-F-H for example

I managed to get a couple of short videos of it as it went through my local area - nothing special and only captured on my phone but if you are interested, they can be viewed here:-
  • (Downward journey through Wivelsfield Station)
  • (Heading back towards London, over the level crossing at Keymer Junction)

Saw it at Billingshurst Brighton and lewes.

What are the rules around operating non accessible between the middle units like this in terms of length?

A farewell like this for the 313s would be considerably short at just 3 cars. 6 car gets seen on football, but is a 9 car or even 12 car allowed?

9 car units have been on selhurst to lovers walk moves (at Hassocks on YouTube), so wondering if we could get this for a tour in future ?

Not sure what the rules are on guards etc but the timings above noted that 2 drivers (1 in each cab) were provided for reverse moves.

Ended up running around half an hour late from Blackfriars onwards, owing to mis-regulation at Spa Road Jn - it was put behind a London Bridge-Caterham stopper and thus lost its booked path to Blackfriars. I suspect the siggy had the route in auto and forgot to pull it in time.

Whilst a RT departure from Blackfriars would probably have been feasible, they wanted to maintain the "PNB opportunity" (being the last of the tour). So it was held at Blackfriars platform 4, effectively falling into the same path around half an hour later from thereon.

Nevertheless a very enjoyable tour and the incredible sum of £25k was raised for the mental health charity Mind, in Croydon. Some very unique prizes on offer in the raffle and auction, such as flame cut coach numbers, fresh from Sims in Newport!

An excellent day today, I enjoyed chasing it around different flanks of London and the South East where 455s are an uncommon sight. Many thanks to those involved in organising this event.

I was at Victoria to see it arrive, about 19 late. Most of the enthusiasts there were under 18 and the atmosphere there was like a football match!

On the tour it was announced that the last ever Southern 455 service will be 2U76, the 00:25 Victoria-Norwood Jn departing in the small hours of tomorrow morning (Sunday 15 May 2022).

Upon arrival at 01:02, it will bring an end to an extraordinary 75 years' service for the EE507 traction motor design, as well as the rather shorter lived and less glamorous use of DOO mirrors on Southern

Captured the tour at Hove, Brighton and Lewes during my hectic schedule of 313 bashing.

@trainmania100, I may have seen you at Lewes; I was at the country end prior to the tour passing through

Had the privilege of chasing the tour around South and Central London. Props to the organisers, and congratulations to them for raising so much money. Below are some of the photos I was able to get, pardon the unprofessional angles.

Great tour
Glad to finally have clear maps of Brixton and Pouparts areas. Long been fascinated with the tangle of track around there
Very informative guide and a great cause
