Could you be more specific? Comparing it to the bustimes one, the times looks correct: leaving at XX:30 towards Lands End and at XX:00 towards St Ives.
Yeah - I can't fathom it either

On the clockwise (to Lands End) it's hourly from 0830 to 1630 with a final run at 1750
On the anticlockwise (to St Ives) it's hourly from 0800 to 1700

All the part journeys start/finish as they should. Seems to tally to me? As @Goldfish62 says, the only difference is the two college day only runs (0640 and 0740) into Penzance

Would it be possible to have "Lands End Coaster" as the primary display followed by the main locations it calls at scrolling below?

Therefore anticlockwise could be:- Penzance - Marazion - St Ives - Pendeen - St Just - Lands End - St Buryan - Penzance

Just a thought, I am not sure if it could be done.
You can do just about anything with LED displays if you want.

First Kernow do not seem to use scrolling displays at all now.
I remember the first time I saw a Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse Urban being used for the then 14/18 service back in late 2008 (think it was 69218 at the time), the scrolling display was in much larger font than usual and there was no mistaking it’s destination and vias.

Does anybody know why 37327 WX57 HKH has transferred to Kernow from Weston Super Mare?
Yes
Incoming Euro 6 B9TLs (and 3 B7TLs from Somerset) from internal transfers and acquisitions are gradually arriving to enable…
1. Additional 6 Decker Contracts
2. Replace 2 Autosans
3. Replace 6 remaining Tridents

Then likely to continue to start replacing oldest B7TLs

Note ‘gradually’

Will those oldest B7TLs be recent acquisitions into Somerset, and also ones in Kernow?

I noticed today big signs on buses and Truro bus station advertising the reduced fares. £5 for an individuals day's travel anywhere in Cornwall with any company and £10 for a family.
£5 is nearly half a gallon of fuel so a real bargain!! I do hope it is a success.

53503 has had its Mousehole stickers removed; does that mean it is staying in Somerset permanently?
It's not going to Mousehole. Ever.

Yes, the low fares scheme was introduced a few months ago.

As going on a bus now, even with an accompanying person, is very difficult for me I don't see what fare information is advertised within, and I don't usually buy the local rags that might have features, but I don't believe the low fare scheme is generally known about even among potential bus users. Why are Cornwall Council not sending people out to Penzance's Market Jew Street between 11 and 4, when it's theoretically closed to cars and vans, to extol the virtues of the scheme? I'm sure the council were allocated sufficient sums to make a great deal about it, but, as usual with this benighted council, they don't grasp the nettle but go round chucking money away on schemes that fail, for whatever reason, but it's never anyone's fault!

Completely agree with you @Busaholic , the lack of advertising shouting about this on buses, bus stops, or heck maybe a billboard or newspaper, is a travesty.

I suspect the reason is that the funding is from central government - i.e. not the council - is to be used to lower bus fares, and thus must be used to achieve this. Marketing may not have been able to be funded, and there's precious little other money knocking about.

You're probably right. The lack of joined-up thinking, let alone action, in almost all aspects of life now is the undoing of progress being achieved.

Full and standing on The Mousehole leaving the Market Jew Street stop just after 12.40 today: from what I could see, almost all locals.

That's really good.

I do think it was such a good idea to retain the 3bph service throughout the year rather than just the Summer. It's the sort of thing that encourages bus use.

I also think service reliability has improved recently. Another important ingredient.

If bus availability can remain high, then the passengers will be there, I'm sure. Pleasant drivers too I hear, in the main.
