Fair enough, many thanks! Not any more, I don’t believe. They’ve all been removed from registration on the system.

Many thanks 43096. So they've all gone from Long Marston and anywhere else where the odd one might have been lurking (or were all the remaining ones at Long Marston)? Not any more, I don’t believe. They’ve all been removed from registration on the system.

Won’t be long until that 456 is no moreLast few vehicles of 455702 are in the scrapping area along with 7 out of the 8 Heathrow 360,bar one of 205 driving car trailer
Visible in photo are cars from 456003, 360204, other 360s. I'm not sure what the car at the back of the photo is, but I'm pretty sure it's not from a 455/7.Last few vehicles of 455702 are in the scrapping area along with 7 out of the 8 Heathrow 360,bar one of 205 driving car trailer
There’s three issues with that statement:Last few vehicles of 455702 are in the scrapping area along with 7 out of the 8 Heathrow 360,bar one of 205 driving car trailer
5847 was recently dispatched to Newport by road, could it be that?As mentioned and pointed out that the swt 455,not 5702,which set would it be?
I would imagine 5704? Closest numerically to 5702 of the LM units. As mentioned and pointed out that the swt 455,not 5702,which set would it be?
Can the 455 be seen in that image? I feel a bit stupid hereLast few vehicles of 455702 are in the scrapping area along with 7 out of the 8 Heathrow 360,bar one of 205 driving car trailer

5722 is having its return to service exam
EDIT 05/09 : now declared as serviceable spare unit.
455722 has returned to passenger service and is on 1D14 today
Yup. The 456s are now extinctAll to Sims?
Not a one off. It's all part of keeping the 83 units going. The issue a lot of the time is waiting for materials in terms of lead time, funding isn't an issue that features really. We get a decent delivery of spares for the stopped units and back they come. 5901 is next on the comeback trail. Is this a bit of a one off, or has funding been sanctioned to repair and restore a few units.
Presumably this funding is only taking place as the 701 saga trickles slowly on.
