Will the Tin Coaster be Open Top next season after the diversion straight down Market Jew Street now?

Assuming the diversion is permanent (which I, for one, would) then it might well revert to an 18 route number, which needn't preclude it being operated by open toppers as the 19 is. This week I saw it operated by Land's End Coasters, just like the 19. The Tin Coaster logo seems like one too many, especially in view of easy confusion with the Tinner brand name.

Yes Marc originally said on Twitter that E400s were being refurbished for the 21 so that must be those.

Meanwhile 23402 was still being used as a driver training vehicle.

Thanks, new arrival at Camborne today is Volvo B7RLE MX55 FFW which has been converted to a driver trainer. This could mean the end for 66164 at some point soon.

A few minutes out just now saw identical types and green liveries on three d/ds, on the 19, Land's End Coaster and U4 respectively, all closed top on a beautiful warm afternoon.

All coaster are closed top today. Had decent load on 0930 from Penzance after St Ives. The 1155 from Sennon clockwise only had a couple on and all 3 tim coasters I've seen or been on have had single digits.The Mousehole at 1230 and return was well loaded though.
Closed top I assumed as it was very cold this morning. The 0930 would not have been fun with an open top...its engine also sounded really rough.

I have no complaints at all. Drivers were fab and all on time. Cant say the same for the 48 Go Cornwall that ran early, didnt serve Redruth Tesco and had a driver that refused to help snh passenger with times. Instead of saying he didnt know he said why should I know as I'm not driving this route after this trip.

Strike announced for 1st October, same date as the railways:

I looked back a bit further. 37584 was badly damaged by a fire in the engine compartment June 2020 at Chickerell near Weymouth whilst working an X53.
