Surely we have to hear today.. I've never stared at my phone so much!
I guess there's an outside chance that they've not booked any medicals for tomorrow after all and therefore have given themselves an extra day or two to reply

I have emailed to ask when we’re likely to hear.
Keep us informed. I think we are all on the same journey at this moment in time!

They did say they would let us know early this week... I've questioned myself if they got my email address wrong. Luckily this forum page has helped me understand it's not just me who has not heard back.

Had a call just now, it’s good news but not great.
She will call again later this week, so see what happens.

So she said she's going to call you to let you know the outcome? Or is it still officially emails...
She said she’d call back later this week.
Is appears they’ve taken on to many candidates at Willesden.
I’m not sure what that means for me at this stage.

Has anyone else tried contacting them? I mean they do have medicals at Birmingham but they may be for the Rugby applicants however they did state travel expense would be reimbursed

Damn... We are both on the same page.
I am also trying to get Willesden.

Guess it's just a waiting game now then. I'd be happy for Tilbury but they said I was outside the 1hr requirement.... By 5/10min! Damn!

I'm not so stressed in regards to traveling. I'm more stressed on the fact I'm flying out this month. So... I'm against the wall now!

Thanks for the update. I wonder what they meant by that, because surely if they picked too many they would just narrow the list back down and then contact everyone. The uncertainty continues...

I'll go back to waiting for replies from other TOCs and FOCs

She asked if I would relocate which I unfortunately cannot do as I’ve just bought a new home in Windsor.

A lot of companies have slowed things down at work since the Queen passed away so maybe that is an element of it too. Even at my wife's workplace and friends' workplaces they have all cut down on the workloads etc until after the funeral.

I’m a signaller for Network rail and ours is increasing. But freight May slow down I suppose

I think the recruitment drive for this is so large and out if the ordinary, that the logistics of it must be hard

Do you know what their core driving routes for Tilbuy depot is, by any chance?

Or does anyone else here know please?

I'm asking in case they ask me whether I would work from Tilbury depot...so I'm wondering which direction their core routes travel to...

Not quite sure. I'd like to know myself.

If anyone knows or could figure it out would be amazing.

I'm a trainee driver at Crewe. The only job(s) coming out of Tilbury is/are the Tesco reefer train to Mossend. I'm fairly certain there's a Tilbury to Daventry job as well.

Based at Crewe or just training there at present?

Did anyone pick up Rachel's business card on the interview date? She mentioned to me to grab one but I forgot.

Nice. You enjoying the process? What stage are you at?
Closing stages, should be out on my own by the end of next month! Finishing off route learning at the moment, then there’s my face-to-face rules with management, my last few driving hours to clock up, then my final driving assessment!!! It’s been very long and drawn out, plus very tiring, but the end is coming into sight!

Oh well done mate, the end is in sight.

Did you complete training in Crewe the whole time or have to lodge away?

Was the first 20 weeks completely classroom based?

Apologies for the bombardment
