With EMR 170s how many of them have the 'White Ribbon' Branding? I was on one on Tuesday (170514) and, as good as the message is, they do obstruct the view a lot! Also as you can see, mine was peeling off too! Just wondering if this is on all EMR 170s or just 514?

170923 and 170922 moving to Etches Park Sunday for couplers to be changed in the next couple of weeks

170924 having its BSI couplers fitted in next few days so should emerge as 424

Do you or anyone know where the BSI couplers were sourced from? I'm interested to know, because of them apparently being difficult to get hold of.

Quite likely scrapped units, but refurbished with a lengthy lead time.

It would be interesting to know, we have a few out of service 156s that are unlikely to ever run again, so I guess it is possible they are donating them. I am sure someone will have the answer.

I know it was mentioned earlier that lots got scrapped with pacers…

Presumably they have came from either pacers 153s or maybe a few drom the accident damaged 158s that gwr and swr lost a few years ago.

Yes I do 170201 Front 170203 rear through Barnt Green 16 early.
Lovely toot from the driver. Perfection through Barnt Green. Two Tfw livery 170 together.

I'm guessing here but I would suspect they need the full squadron of class 196 working reliably before the last 5 come over. Only time will tell

There's always some out, although it's more rare now; one or two diagrams a day. I don't think any are going to hereford anymore
