441, 443 and 448 are done, 446 will probably return to service with a fresh repaint as well after a recent accident in Silverknowes / Muirhouse448 has been repainted, does anyone know how many have been done so far?
Yes - any Young Scot NEC with free bus travel enabled can be used on the 100 service. Is a young scot card issued from Midlothain Council valid on the 100?

It looks like you've copied and pasted this from somewhere, based on the random font. Can you specify your source if possible? Is Lothian trialing another Wright StreetDeck Hydroliner as there is a Translink Metro bus at Central.

Long way from home.Its outside.
It looks to be Wright Streetdeck Hydrogen demonstrator 5003 (plated XUI 8003), similar to LX71 AOS that we had in December 2021 under staff demonstration. Its outside.
hmm interestingIts outside.
Looking likely it’s only a brief visit for publicity purposes in relation to the Labour Leader launching an energy event in Edinburgh today.
I forgot to mention it. I’m already seeing a lot of strange edit requests to it on bustimes, just the sort of standard you get with certain bits of the site.997 now has a tracker, I thought someone would've said by now but I'll spill the beans!
Oh dear. Looks like 466 is the one that replaced it.Looking likely it’s only a brief visit for publicity purposes in relation to the Labour Leader launching an energy event in Edinburgh today.

Sounds like the bus failed and also got lost! So can assume it was just being housed at Central garage rather than being at Lothian specifically for demonstration.

It was replaced with 431 around that time. I suspect it will only track while it’s actually in service. It appears that 997's tracker has stopped (as of Half past 11.)
Not a chance. I think they’re simply being kept to stagger out the sales and specifically the money generated from them. I’d expect 841-850 and 926-936 to have all been sold before the end of the year. 195-198 I think are standby buses for any potential increase in single decks.I’m thinking that maybe Lothian are holding onto 926-934 and 195-198 in case McGill’s pull out or reduce their service even more in West Lothian.
There will also soon be 841-850 which seem to be going into storage so could also be used in an emergency situation where they find themselves with not enough buses.
What does everyone else think?
I have been told there will not be any buses sold until 2024 after 591-594 get disposed, as they are apparently still for sale despite their sighting.I’d expect 841-850 and 926-936 to have all been sold before the end of the year.
No wonder. They certainly aren’t the most reliable buses.I have been told there will not be any buses sold until 2024 after 591-594 get disposed, as they are apparently still for sale despite their sighting.
To use a Dad's Army line, "I think you're wandering into the realms of fantasy there."I’m thinking that maybe Lothian are holding onto 926-934 and 195-198 in case McGill’s pull out or reduce their service even more in West Lothian.

It was inevitable. Good to see it back in service.I have just seen that it looks like it is 14 that has replaced 11.
It doesn’t confirm that 11 is gone, but what it does confirm is that 11 has been replaced. This had to happen either way anyway as even if 11 does end up being rebuilt (which I still doubt it will) then you’re talking months for that to happen. First Essex have just sent a bunch of 7900’s to scrap via Ensign so parts are available if it’s something Lothian are able to and want to pursue. We shall have to wait and see.I have just seen that it looks like it is 14 that has replaced 11.
It is good to see it back in service as it must be around 18 months off the road. It did look pretty burnt out at Seafield so probably a waste of resources. It doesn’t confirm that 11 is gone, but what it does confirm is that 11 has been replaced.
