Hey,“No news is good news“ I’ve applied too a few toc’s and I’ve always found that saying to be true.
You were right, I just got an email inviting me to the OPC test!
Hey,“No news is good news“ I’ve applied too a few toc’s and I’ve always found that saying to be true.
Hello guys on Thursday 6th of July I have been sent this following email “We are very keen to get to know you better and we would like to invite you to an online test with an external provider - OPC. To get you set up, we will need your Date of Birth, Postcode and National Insurance number. Please fill in the details below before close of play Friday 7th July.”
I sent the requested details immediately via Email after receiving it. But I'm confused as people in this forum have done their online OPC tests. Is it the case that I need to wait until Monday for them to send it or is my application paused for the time being?
Can anyone clarify?
That's really nice of you. Thank you.I'm currently a driver at Willesden Junction, if anyone wants any advice or help, just drop me a DM, i'll be happy to help as best i can!
I started off in this Forum as well..
Amazing the support and help you can get.
So more than happy to help as well
I don’t think we get a confirmation that they have received the details x It says on the bottom of the email “Please note - Due to the large scale of emails we cannot send a response to confirm receipt of details.”I sent the requested details straight away as well but I’ve not yet heard back.
Have you?
Just wondering if anyone received details of the online test after responding to the email…I don’t think we get a confirmation that they have received the details x It says on the bottom of the email “Please note - Due to the large scale of emails we cannot send a response to confirm receipt of details.”

I spoke to a friend who works for London Underground as Trainee Train Driver. He told me it takes quite a while for the OPC assessment links to be sent as they need to plan ahead.I sent the requested details straight away as well but I’ve not yet heard back.

Same reason I didn't get the role with SWR. Not enough information about the company.Hi all, hope you are all well. I just wanted to get an idea of the process if I am successful in the application, any help would be much appreciated. I applied for MTR Crossrail a few years back and got to interview stage where I was unsuccessful due to lack of knowledge on the company. I remember the group bourdon test, a test where you had to count the beeps whilst searching through a list of companies (restaurants etc) Hand to eye co-ordination with the joysticks and a couple of others?? It's been a while!! Good luck to all who have applied, regards
Was this the vse that you do at home ?Hey,

I believe so. I’ve not been sent the test yet but I heard back later than others on the forum, so will probably get my VSE next week. Was this the vse that you do at home ?

Yeah I have checked but nothing! I did hear back later than you guys and got my email to send my info over later so I assume I’ll get the test invite in a few days. If not I will chase up.Have you checked your junk/spam folders? The email comes directly from the OPC.
Hey!Hey guys! I got an email to with the OPC to do a VSE. I recently passed the OPC test including with VSE with an enhanced standard. So just wondering why I need to do it again? Is it possible they made a mistake?
So i passed national standards but failed enhanced with arriva last year . So I won’t have to complete the tests I passed at national standard, just go in and complete the the enhanced test which is DFFT i believe which I failed previously?Hey!
I’m pretty sure this is a requirement set out by Arriva still forming part of their candidate sifting.
If you make it through this stage, then it will be at the next stage that any tests that you’ve passed to an enhanced standard, will be considered.
You don’t ‘lose a life’ if you fail or don’t make it through the online VSE.
This stage is still whittling down the thousands of applicants they’ve had so far.
This is my understanding. Hope it helps
Very informative! Thank you for getting back to me. Much appreciatedHey!

Let just say there was 100 slides for each section of VSE. Section 1 you get 100% Section 2 you get 95% and section 3 you get 70 percent. Would OPC accumulate the overall score or is there a bench mark for each section of the test and if you dont hit the bench mark let say 90 percent you have failed the test.
???????????? Anyone have a clue ️♂️
