I failed the Reading DMI last year.

I applied for Reading again and not sure why I applied for Bristol. Maybe I was desperate after messing up the DMI.

They rejected my Reading application but kept my Bristol application open for a year. I heard nothing and suddenly got a DMI email. Caught me by surprise.

Anyway if I get it il rent a room and visit home during my days off.

Can I transfer to Reading Later say in a 2-3 years. I would be Loyal and not leave the company.

Hello everyone, newbie here.

Is anybody else waiting on their OPC link to be sent?

Replied on the same day (6th) that the additional information was asked for but still no response.

Checked junk email and nothing has come through, but read that people here have done the online tests on Monday.

I'm also waiting since the 6th... Starting to wonder if I've just been put aside!

Seeing as there’s at least three of us, it makes me feel positive that there was nothing wrong with my reply and it seems they may be doing it in blocks.

I cant speak for this TOC but I was in the same situation for another, people seem to get progressed at different stages/times for whatever reason.

Just got an email saying I passed the OPC test! To say I am shocked is an an understatement!

Hi all,

I'm new here but have been using this forum for advice with this application.

I passed the OPC test (surprisingly) and received an email yesterday asking for what dates I prefer for the assessment centre in August.

Has anyone been to this assessment centre before? Any advice?

It’s all well documented on this forum. Group Bourdon, TEA-OCC, VSE, ATAVT, Vigilance test, MMI.

They will also send practice materials once you are booked in. I recommend looking for the Group Bourdon Tool and printing off sheets of paper to practice looking for the 4 dots.

Thank you! I completed mine Tuesday afternoon and heard back this afternoon. Almost exactly 48hrs! Someone else on the forum said they waited about 2 days too so I'm sure you'll hear back soon

Oh fair play that was a pretty quick turnaround time! I am praying now that I have made it through the VSE and onto the next stage. Hopefully see at you at the assessment centre

If you make it through this stage, then it will be at the next stage that any tests that you’ve passed to an enhanced standard, will be considered.
You don’t ‘lose a life’ if you fail or don’t make it through the online VSE.
This stage is still whittling down the thousands of applicants they’ve had so far.

I think I’m in a similar situation, when I tested to enhanced a year ago (with a FOC) annoyingly I only failed 1 of the PC tests….
So in theory I’ve got a benchmarked score?

I emailed asking this… no reply but had an Email from Arriva today saying I’ve been booked in for OPC stage 1 (again) down at Palestra….

Hello there. I’m in the same position as you. Have you tried emailing them letting them know you still haven’t heard anything? I did and the lady said she sent my info over to the OPC and wasn’t sure why I haven’t heard back.

From reading many other posts on here, it seems this is normal within this industry.

I have a full set of passes and haven't had any further correspondence since making them aware.

I am. I haven't heard anything beyond mentioned above and am curious if we are being progressed. My passes are fairly recent so i am optimistically hoping i may have bypassed any entry tests rather than recruitment being done with a limited number of people being processed at a time.
