Due to the incident north of Newcastle earlier that morning, the 1V50 HST terminated at Alnmouth (an 8-car Voyager took over from Newcastle).
That 18:07 terminated at Leeds and an 8-car Voyager (presumably the same one) tool over from there.
That was so the HST could be back at Leeds.

I would assume the '17:27' is an error since there isn't one. Maybe this is the 16:27 instead?

I believe these are the usual weekend diagrams currently (excluding any engineering works taking place which could alter them):
Saturdays:
1V44 06:09 Leeds to Plymouth
1S51 12:27 Plymouth to Glasgow Central
1V54 08:07 Ediburgh to Plymouth
1E73 17:27 Plymouth to Leeds
Sundays:
1V48 08:11 Leeds to Plymouth
1S55 14:27 Plymouth to Edinburgh
1V56 09:08 Edinburgh to Plymouth
1E75 18:27 Plymouth to Leeds

1V60 on Sundays is also one, I saw it earlier at Kings Norton
Only because of the diversions via Newport today. It reverts to 1V56 next sunday.

Booked to be:
1V44 0609 Leeds to Plymouth and 1S51 1227 Plymouth to Glasgow Ctl.
1V50 0606 Edinburgh to Plymouth and 1E63 1527 Plymouth to Leeds.
Alteration can happen at short notice or without warning.
With the strike are these running?
No don’t appear to be any XC HSTs working today.

I asume there are none tomorrow (sunday) due to strike/OT action then
It is only full strike days where HSTs are not used (like today) so should be out tomorrow and all week.

Anyone know what’s running 1S51 today? RTT is blank. I’m hoping to do this diagram on Wednesday for the full length, just a little skeptical on if it’s reliably an HST.
It is the same set as on 1V44, 43378+XC05+43366. I gather a set swap might of been planned but Laira was under a T3 possession when it would've occurred.

I catch it three or four times a week usually, from Sheffield. Only once for me has it not been an HST the last six months (I didn't catch that one, obvs).

According to my notes the following are the HST services on a Saturday. Is that correct?
06:09 Leeds > Plymouth
12:27 Plymouth > Glasgow Central
08:07 Edinburgh to Plymouth
17:27 Plymouth to Leeds
and NOT the 0606 or 0658 from Edinburgh

Yes that is what I have them down as too but changes obviously can occur on weekends when there is engineering works taking place.

Be warned there is now RMT industrial action on Saturday 26th August which may well change the workings.
