In that case there should be an 'I'm not bothered' option. Perhaps even 'just jam' and 'just cream' options.

For me - Scone on its own, or with a little spread (Flora, etc.).

And for the other item infiltrating this thread - sausage and chips, with a pinch of salt (not the seemingly 50-100 grams that some chippies dump on them) - and definitely not mushy peas - vegetables are ruined when they are grossly over-boiled. Lightly boiled peas are preferable, much better taste - but it seems you can only get them at home
