In 2016, ÖBB has introduced Nightjet, Railjet and Cityjet brand in which Nightjet has integrated DB’s CNL train category
In 2022, Trenitalia has integrated Frecciarossa with Frecciabianca and Frecciagento
ČD has introduced Railjet, Interjet and Comfortjet
Do you think there is a need for ČD to integrate SuperCity train category to Railjet since looks like there is a overlap of characteristic

No. Leave it as is, as the service offering is very different.

They are not. ‘SC’ are reservation only, as I understand it, whereas RailJet are not.
...and the first class freebie is superior, I believe. SC/IC are commercially operated by CD, whereas RJ are part of the public service specification.

As in Austria, RJ (etc) are the standard Intercity product (CityJet is different), in the same way that an HST was on BR or ICE is on DB.

FS still differentiate between the 3 categories of Frecce, though FB/FA are now only distinguished by speed.

Not that simple.

CD 'brands' currently are SC Pendolino, Railjet, InterJet, InterCity&EuroCity etc ('our trains' on their web site, InterJet is only on the Czech version).

Marketing people announced ComfortJet as a brand to the media a bit ago, presumably to drum up some excitement as marketing people do.

How they present the new Viaggio sets operationally we will see then they enter service.

Buying a ticket you currently see rj, SC, IC, EC etc. no InterJet.

The InterJet sets are IC services, often formed with some non-InterJet coaches. Only if you dig into services you see the free bottle of water in 1st, the children's area and so on. They currently have no restaurant which fits with IC (restaurant only on some services) although a non-InterJet restaurant could be included.

The odd IC is now reservation compulsory so it is slightly confusing.
