I did my assessment earlier this month and would say read the practice materials and maybe familiarise yourself with the Tube map if you aren’t familiar with it already.

Hello, after the online assessment how long did it take for you to receive the email for the next step?
Yes I received an email and exactly 2 weeks after the online assessment

The practice material I got is a 3 page PDF showing 2 sample Tickets....

My materials were the same, but I guess TfL don’t want to give too much away and I presume the assessments are slightly different each time.

Hi,
I did my communication & data interpretation assessment on 20th of December. I was wondering if anyone else had this assessment on this date and got the result?
Thanks

I heard back within a couple of days of my first assessment. Obviously with Christmas this might have been delayed.

I think on my assessment day we were told we would be informed within 2-4 weeks.

There are 4 stages

1 - Online assessment
2 - Class room based assessment
3 - Role play
4 - Interview Via Teams (8 questions, 4 warm up questions and 4 scenario based questions)

Anyone need help with the above I'll be more than happy to help

I have all the answers for all the stages.

Good luck

Ps. I have been successful and waiting for my training.
Congratulations to you. I will need your assistance with answers as I have been scheduled for the 3 stage of the interview this month. Appreciate your help

Hi Mabz, just did my online tests and passed for CSA. I’ve got an interview (CSA AC1) any idea what that consists of?

Have you got the first in-peeson assessment booked yet?

My role-play/SBI next week has been cancelled due to industrial action.

With the written communication, it’s best to practice your spelling, grammar, punctuation etc. TfL don’t send out practice material for that part as (I imagine) it would give too much detail away.

The tickets they send are part of the data interpretation task so go over that as it will help. You might also want to familiarise yourself with the Tube map if you aren’t already.

The assessor will explain each task on the day, but TfL want to keep the exact questions and content a little bit to themselves.

My only other advice is speed and clarity.

Hope that helps and good luck!
Thank you :) have assessment tomorrow.

For the 2022 (CSA1 - NT) intake:

However, it seems like these are shifts during week as opposed to night weekends.

We are pleased to advise that we will have some CSA1 Part Time position available soon, with training courses estimated to begin in February/ March.

This Part Time CSA1 position will consist of:

  • Mon-Fri ‘late’ shifts – 20 hours per week (4 hour shifts)
  • Earliest possible start time 15:00
  • Latest possible finish time 22:00
  • Varied shift pattern – we are unable to offer a fixed roster
  • Salary £22,254 & pro rated annual leave

Some advice please.

As you know, some of us have been offered a conditional offer for CSA2 night tube. I decided not to take up the offer for the full-time 35 hour per week that was offered a few weeks ago and wait for CSA2 night tube, which allegedly will be offered later on this year?
However, today I had an email from recruitment offering a 20 hour per week five day per week 4 hour per day part time CSA1 role as indicated from the post above.
I am in a little quandary in knowing what to do. Does anybody know whether CSA2will be offered later on this year? If I were to take the 20 hour week part-time post, will this then preclude me from the role that I applied for CSA2 tonight tube?

Any advice would be most welcome.

It’s an offer for a Part-Time (lates) CSA1 role as opposed to Night Tube.

There will be training sessions later in the year if you want to continue on the NT waitlist. It’s your choice - I’ll be waiting due to me having other commitments.

We’ve been offered other roles/contracts to clear the backlog.

There is no CSA2 night tube. Only CSA1 night tube. The full time 35hrs per week is CSA2. The part time 20 hours a week is CSA1.

Off course it depends on your personal circumstances and if you only want to work Fri/Sat night or if you prefer to work during the week.

Thank you for clarifying the two roles and you're absolutely right it was my mistake it is for CSA1 night tube in which I have been given a conditional offer. Appreciate your information and thank you for responding.

Did you take up the offer and replied to them ?or are you going to wait for NT later this year.?

Can't give you specific advice - surely this decision is based on your own personal circumstances.

I take it you don't want to wotk full time at the moment? Do you want to work part time evenings 5 days a week? Or do you want purely weekend nights? They are 3 different things.

Generally, I would say get into the training ASAP, but if you accept the 5 days a week I think you run the risk of not being able to change to night tube (although n/t shifts may be available as overtime).

LU are notoriously opaque around recruitment - they say one thing and do another, usually citing "business needs" - so who knows what they will do in the future.

Thank you so much for your advice. I applied for CSA1 night tube in December 2022. Just working Friday and Saturday is really what I'm looking for at the moment. But as you say getting into the training ASAP might be a viable option. I will run off an email to TFL recruitment with the hope of some advice in moving forward.

Hello all,

I have my data interpretation and written communication test assessment tomorrow. I have applied for CSA 2.

Could anyone help me with kind of questions that I can expect? Does it need a thorough preparation?

Any information would be helpful.

hey there can I please get some help regarding the 2 stage

Hey

How can I contact you?

Also anyone can help me with this query

Done the second stage class room based assessment few days ago

For one of my sections - the bold writing which you have to rewrite, I didn't finish the sentence. I'm almost certain I got 90-100% in every other section. But do you think me not having enough time to finish the sentence will 100% screw me?
I have my test for class rom test this month was it easy test or I have to study it ?

I did my assessment earlier this month and would say read the practice materials and maybe familiarise yourself with the Tube map if you aren’t familiar with it already.hey. there is not much to study as there is just two examples
