(*The building on the left of the Castleton photo was the subject of a major fiasco with First North Western (1998). They demolished it at very short notice, also knocking the entire station power out. The refused to fix it so after six days, the PTE worked with HMRI to shut the station after sunset then imposed massive fines for cancellations 'due to incompetence'. Took First North Western three days to hire three generators and strings of lights.)

Not Woolwich Arsenal Peter, you will get it soon by process of elimination. Plumstead is the nearest so far, which doesn't leave many options as it is clearly not Abbey Wood.....

I am intrigued by that chunky grey thing to the right of the station building. In the original/cropped photo it looks like a huge (steam era) water tank with a windowless top and roof !. Now in the full picture i suppose it could merely be a landing half way up the footbridge stairs ?.
