507002 in Birkenhead North depot, 001 and 003 on Southport - Huntscross services. 014 and 016

507 units on Southport line today 001,003,007,015,017,021,029,031,033. Units 014 and 016 in sidings with faults. Travelled on 033 back from Central to Ainsdale at teatime and was bursting at the seams all the way to Formby, worse than travelling on a 6 car in rush hour!!!

It’s been reported as serviceable again as of today, but has been at Birkenhead North depot without a diagram

Whichever day it is, will be a bit sad, because the 777s surely won't be massively reliable by then. At least there'll be air-conditioning whilst you sit out your delay (providing the train's aux. power still works)

Hi MR 507508. Sorry missed your post. Don't think it was. From memory 1st working was showing 0901 ? May have done 0730 but can't be sure

507007+021 left 13 late on 1612 and didnt call at a few stations to make up the time, 1406-1700 ish off Hunts crossed delays due to trespassers near Sandhills. Think 1757 was cancelled. Wirral line services severely disrupted due to power supply issues 1800. 016 reported on New Brighton this afternoon - didnt see 014.

I was just about to post an update following my trip out on the network yesterday (Wednesday 14th Feb).
Yesterday, out of the 19 remaning 507 unit still 'in service', the only three which were not working yesterday were; 507002, 507014 & 507021.
507017 was working (coupled with 507023) in the morning but then ran ECS to Birkenhead North depot, via Kirkdale depot.

Was great to see lots of 6 cars out on the Southport - Hunts Cross line during the day. I took 507003 (coupled to 507018) from Hunts Cross to Southport.

Any news on when the first 8 car class 777 passenger working maybe?
The peak 4 car 777s seem heavily loaded. I took the 1616 Liverpool Central to Ormskirk and it was standing room only. This service used to be a 6 car working prior to the 777 introduction on the Ormskirk line.

Have just arrived in West Kirby at 1230 and 507 014 is in one of the sidings there if you need it.

New Brighton sidings are empty and there's nothing outside BN depot with all the doors shut when I passed
