I prefer it to the obscenely big single line version. Still can't see what was wrong with them as they were though!

I don't understand why they changed it all in the first place, the scrolling was great, looked better and gave more info.

Interesting extra X5s are gona be B10 I thought they were pushing for LF...obv not haha

Wheelchair accessible advertised service, running with step entrance buses all the time. Where have I seen this before? Gained a nice little bit of local publicity that, resulting in the accessible advert being removed from Moorclose Circulars with no notice. Wheelchair passengers still expecting the service to be accessible, but it wasn't.
Nothing published to say that the summer only extra runs won't be wheelchair accessible..... There's also no details printed anymore about booking the wheelchair space on the Profile's.
Not the best thing to happen, especially as Reays are ready to pounce!

Hi All
Haven't seen the "Love Carlisle" branded dart but PX05EMV certainly looked different over the pits yesterday at Willowholm in an all over plain purple livery. There was an ex London red 400 still in the body shop but couldn't identify it. Any help would be appreciated and parked just inside the garage in corporate swoops ex London 17272 X272NNO.
Regards
Ernie

Yeah noticed that today, looks just as awful.
Interesting about MANs to KL, LL still need something for extra X5s, might be B10Ls I suppose or maybe more MANs will move up from Manc, we'll soon see!

Glad the first E300 has turned up at ME!! Hopefully the rest will follow soon!

I bet it doesnt see service until after the open day.

A number of Carlisle Darts are now in "Straight to the Heart of our City" branding, including those not mentioned yet; 34704, 34709 and 34717. -- 34709 has rear "heart"

In the workshops/pits: 20965, another R-XVM B10M, 16337, a number of darts being re-branded and the very purple 34700 having its rear advert frame removed/patched and waiting for its vinyl's.
17272 still in the sheds with poor ol' 34048 poking its sorry face out from behind 40011.

New NW MD doesn't like the scrolling versions apparently, although Lancashire still uses it at their depots, maybe he's working his way through one depot at a time.
Got no idea why its once again changed, maybe through customer feedback, as there was a lot of queries regarding via points were on certain routes.

The blinds are all to do with DDA compliance

 reetio there Gez
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Ahhhh right, so I assume every depot will have to change soon then?

If they aint compliant then yes, there are strict guidelines on the height, width, font and information that is to be put on destination display's in accordance with vehicle age etc.

Certainly did, a lot of years since I did the 0725 555 that was in a B6 if I recall.
Thought I'd best boost my Scania mileage up a bit as well,

Had a visit to Preston today,

Was good to see 20475/6/7 all going strong on the 11, 20793 was out on the 109 with 20794 & 20899 on the 126. Was not expecting to see so many B10M's out this time around.

As for the Olympians I noted the following. 16636/16638/16649/16651/16654/16669 all had a spell on the X61, 16391/16709/16647 on the 59, 16103/16352/16708 on the 61, 16642/16874 on the 4C, 16392 on the 3 & 16328 came out on schools.

18159 on the 2X with 19038/9 & 17021 on the 68.
25225 on the 2 with 25233.

As usual Solos were all over the place branding wise. Reserve 47655 & 47753 both still going strong at Preston while 47001 was out on the 114.

Had a walk past the depot and there were 3 ALX300's in and any amount of Enviro 400's.

Carlisle changes are nothing major. 76 goes back to how it was with the PVR dropping by 1 ans the extra bus going into the 62 cycle to upgrade the Morton Park section of the route.

20907 was sent to Penrith with 20965 returning to Carlisle to take it's place on Annan's no doubt. 16397 has now went back to Penrith after having it's service at Carlisle. 34700 was held back but will be having its vinyls applied and then hit the road!

Wonder if I'll see anything different on 553/554 tomorrow! It was 16397 yesterday. Ever since tacho's went, I have only ever seen tacho'd 16397 and 16355 on there! Just waiting for it to be 16355 tomorrow.... If it is, I'd rather see it from a distance, and hope not to smell it!!!

Doubt it will be 16355 as its been VOR for a good while now. 16336 has been used fairly often!

16355 was on 91A this morning, went onto 553/554 after that? I'm not sure what they do in a morning!
Picture not mine.

Oh damm, it's back out then! Sick of the sight of that thing now. Yeah it should do the 2nd short 685 and then 91A and then onto Keswicks all day.
