The 323’s stop right at the TV end of the platform.Ah, right, Lichfield City must be a bit tight too though as they stop right at the end of the platform in the Trent Valley direction with the cab door inches away from the ramp.
Thank you very much!
There’s 6 diagrams in total, 3 peak extras down South, 1 all day diagram down south, 1 Walsall-Wolves diagram, and 1 Lichfield-Bromsgrove diagram.Apologies if this has been covered upthread, how many daily diagrams are operated by 730s so far and how many units are in traffic? Also are these being used on Saturdays?
That's great, thank you. I may be around Birmingham on Saturday so will keep a look out. There’s 6 diagrams in total, 3 peak extras down South, 1 all day diagram down south, 1 Walsall-Wolves diagram, and 1 Lichfield-Bromsgrove diagram.
The Walsall-Wolves and Cross City diagrams operate on Saturdays. Walsall-Wolves only on Sundays.
I would suggest a look at the Part Time Spotter site for what 730s are actually running. Usually report Mondays to Fridays and has the diagrams.Apologies if this has been covered upthread, how many daily diagrams are operated by 730s so far and how many units are in traffic? 730017 was out on Walsall - Wolverhampton services yesterdayAccording to part-time spotter 730010 is in service today, (Wolves-Walsall) not sure if this has been seen in service as might be it's first day? Out of 730001-730022 only 004 and 017 not been reported in service according to part-time spotter which I check daily, unless i've missed any. 730030-033 and 730044 also accepted and in passenger service.
730010 was the first 730 to work in November. 730017 made its debut yesterday, and you have missed 730047 from your list made its debut in FebruaryAccording to part-time spotter 730010 is in service today, (Wolves-Walsall) not sure if this has been seen in service as might be it's first day? Line was borked between ERD and CRD due to a tree on the overhead lines overnight / this morning but it was cleared quite early on.Is the cross city diagram actually running today? There's been a bit of disruption it seems today.
At the very least there should be one unit on the Walsall - Wolverhampton circuit. Unsure on the Cross City at the moment.Hi guys, looking at trying to get the 730s in the West Midlands on 18th May (Saturday), can anyone let me know what the diagram situation is please?
Thank you.At the very least there should be one unit on the Walsall - Wolverhampton circuit. Unsure on the Cross City at the moment.
Yep. and the seats aren't actually designed to fit anyone over 5 feet tall or 8 stone in weight....I had a trip with 730022 from Bescot Stadium to New Street on Friday.
Thoughts - perfectly OK, apart from - I'm not sure how well that carpet will hold up, and the seats are incredibly uncomfortable, they make the seats in 80x units seem like padded sofas. On the other hand, I suppose most people aren't going to be sitting on them for very long.
I’m 6 ft 4, weigh more than 8 stone, and I sat alongside my friend and was perfectly acceptable.Yep. and the seats aren't actually designed to fit anyone over 5 feet tall or 8 stone in weight....
