How are coaches locked out when the trains are designed as walk through with no interconnecting doors between coaches?

Not disputing you, just curious as to how it's done.
If it is anything like I have seen on the 745s in the past, the doors are locked out of use and they have a "no entry" barrier belt to prevent access to the coach. Not that it prevents passengers ducking underneath it to make their way through the train.

Why would passengers not be allowed in a coach? I've only seen them locked out due to a door fault and can't think of any other reasons, but there probably are

Passenger action such as vandalism or other type of soiling is a valid reason.

Definitely is. It was actually 745110
forreal they’ve somehow mucked up the diagram order the last few days due to a shortage of 745/1s not being available for stansaid express so in the last minute they had to platform alternate the 2 720s back onto stansaid then swap the arrival 745 to Norwich & using a /1 unit filling in for 10:00/15:00/20:00 to Norwich bi mode 11 car 755 due to disruption on the line last week

Yeah I've noticed that a 745/1 has been in place of a /0 diagram and the 11 car 755 diagram, so 720s have been in place of a 745 on Stansted express for the last few days

After travelling on the 701s today on SWR, I have to say it makes GA's 720's unbearably cramped. Seats squashed together, barely any room to walk through gangways and so many seats that don't align with the windows, and some with no window at all.

I've said it before, but the 720s would be much nicer trains if they were spec'd as 2+2.

Yeah I've noticed that a 745/1 has been in place of a /0 diagram and the 11 car 755 diagram, so 720s have been in place of a 745 on Stansted express for the last few days
Same thing happened again yesterday idk if it’s greater Anglia or rtt that’s muddling up the diagrams for stansaid & Norwich lately due to a shortage of 755s available for Norwich so basically at this point stansaid express might as-well use a full house of 9 720s & lease all the /1 units to Norwich I haven’t seen 007 or 010 running the last week or 2 so that could be the huge change up

Probably because the Stansted diagram went into a Norwich and they forgot to change it
745010 is running today

Only recently I’ve noticed on departure form Liverpool Street, the sets start to take off and then stop again, to then take off normally, only noticed it on 10 cars so far, anyone know anything?

Also the blue triangles on white cards in the cabs, what’s this for?

Saw it on test at Shenfield to/from Southend this evening (circa 1915).
Amazing not too long till the final phase 137 139 140 141 143 144 & a few more missing /5 units then the 5 year wait is finally over for building the beasts.

This afternoon about 16:45 I could see what I assume might be 720140 in Willesden shed with a bit of the cab poking out of each end - not enough to reveal the number.

By my reckoning around a dozen haven’t reached London (whether in service or not) with one at Worksop and one possibly at Longsight. Are the other10 still at Derby?
It may be the 701s have all left but there must be quite a number of 730/2s still there so plenty units at Derby.

Derby is a funny place at the moment, loads of 730/2 single cars, some 720 single cars, all dotted around, but a lot near London Road.

Thanks. Due in Brum 26/27/6 and was wondering if Derby worth a visit.
Would want complete units so probably won’t visit.
