I suppose there's still the Barrow/Windermere to Manchester which will use 195s. And double 323 doesn't sound as bad as I thought actually.

Looks like the approx 0630 & 0830 TfW departures from Crewe towards Manchester will additionally call at Alderley Edge from the rewrite. Not a bad thing on the 0830 departure, this is generally one of the quieter departures from Crewe due to the XC train immediately in front, and doesn’t add anything to the journey time.

Liverpool - Birmingham is back to half hourly Monday - Friday, interestingly with XX:08 departures from Liverpool L St and XX:04/57 departures from Birmingham N St calling at Mossley Hill. The same said services will call at Coseley with the XX:33 ex LIV and XX:34 ex BHM still calling at Smethwick Galton Bridge.

It’s very common for a few services to be missing when first loaded, the two services you mention have their respective down direction arrivals showing at the right times, so I‘d expect they’ll appear before long.
SWR have a new 0752 Surbiton to London Waterloo calling at all stations except Berrylands which should relieve some of the long standing overcrowding on peak time services from Surbiton that are not non stop to Waterloo.

I was hoping SWR would restore 4tph Epsom to Waterloo in the off-peak. No such luck it seems 
It's so frustrating still only having 2tph in the off-peak from Worcester Park to Waterloo, having been used to 4tph for as long as I can remember, and 1tph to each of Guildford / Dorking. I can't see any improvements at all to the timetable on that line. Maybe next year!?

SWR do seem to be very slow in restoring pre-Covid timetables compared to some other London and South East TOCs.
I'd have thought 20-min-interval would be the absolute minimum for a suburban station of that nature, and ideally 4tph.
At least they are not cutting services, I guess. Perhaps we have to be thankful for that.

COVID has been a useful excuse for SWR who have left themselves woefully short of rolling stock. They can barely run the existing service let alone add any more.
I was hoping for the Hounslow loop services to be restored but (unsurprisingly) no sign of that.
Wonder if the 701s will be introduced soon to rectify the situation. I've lost track other than I did see one at Millbrook last November.

Fingers crossed for the 701 introduction, but I have no faith SWR are capable of managing their introduction in to service. They've managed one daily diagram after a 5 year delay..
I have no insider knowledge but from reading posts from those in the know on here I understand there is no desire within SWR/ DFT to restore pre COVID frequencies or capacity. The opposite if anything, the timetable on the Windsor side is the worst it's been in 20+ years and almost all services that were 10 coach are now 8.
It was alluded to on another thread that SWR are struggling to recruit or retain metro guards - I can see this being used to justify further service cuts.

Nothing substantial for SE metro services it seems, still running their managed decline timetable, will continue to use the Elizabeth line.
A tad disappointed with TPE's attitudes to providing a service to stations such as Garforth and Northallerton. They really should bin their intercity delusions and focus on being what they're good at: An interregional operator. The decision re the ex-Newcastle services at Northallerton really is a disappointment. Those who know Northallerton station will know that a 'day return to Darlington' is one of their bread and butter flows, after York, with a lot of people seeming to commute to Darlo or Newcastle. It seems to me that TPE's attitude towards such stations is that they get in the way of being an intercity operator, leaving said stations with a worse service. It just shows how we don't have an integrated rail plan, never mind an integrated transport plan (buses in Northallerton magically disappear after about 5pm). Was going to say a plus side is they seem to have sorted the early Northbound finish at Thirsk compared to Mon-Fri and Sun but it appears they're only calling the last Newcastle terminator at Thirsk around Christmas.

Northallerton has 71,000 annual journeys to / from Darlington, Durham and Newcastle. For Middlesbrough, Redcar and Saltburn, it's 22,000 (and, for comparison's sake, it's 30,000 for Leeds, Manchester Victoria, Piccadilly and Airport combined, and 60,000 each for King's Cross and York).

WMR Snow Hill December services currently showing reductions in the off peak.
Kidderminster to Birmingham cut from 4 to 3 per hour, Kidderminster to Worcester cut from 2 to 1 per hour. Birmingham to Dorridge WMR services cut from 2 to 1 per hour, with the Dorridge to Stratford services gone, so Stratford to Birmingham down from 2 to 1 per hour.

2*185s off the 1809 arrival from Redcar Central at Manchester Airport split. One unit departs on the 1844 1P87 to Redcar Central whilst the other unit works the 1904 departure to Oxenholme as 1C85.
On arrival at Oxenholme to unit shunts via Tebay back to Oxenholme and forms 1M94 the 2113 departure to Manchester Airport. Thence the unit forms 5W94 to Ardwick.
This appears to offer regular working of Class 185s to Manchester Piccadilly Preston link drivers, as Preston depot no longer sign 185s.
