TfW Class 67+Mk4 sets: trip planning/experiences, diagram updates etc

I can't tell if HD02 has taken it's trip a day early or if it's a unit... 5Z68.

Is 67025 okay following it's issues this morning and does it require swapping off before getting HD06 back into service?

Also, 6 days to go till my Crewe trip (October 29th), looking at the current exams I'm high hoped, supposing no sets go pop in the meantime..

HD02 has sneaked out early on 5Z68.

It's planned to stand HD06 for tomorrow for investigation once that's done it'll be known the issue.

67020 HD04 was on 5Z67 Crewe C.S to Chester.

Saw a picture earlier of 029 dragging the set out of Cardiff due to the DVT fault.

I think there is one less diagram on a Saturday. 4 diagrams not the eventual 5 there will be on weekdays.

The issue is having enough locos & sets in service daily to run 5 diagrams,
Like today there is only 4 serviceable sets with the other 3 out of service.

As far as I'm aware it's more crew diagrams and depot capacity at Canton than the sets themselves, vast majority of the time if there was a requirement for 5 sets then they could be provided.

025 is heading over to Crewe ETD for an exam later and will be replaced by 67029 on HD06 now, that will be the spare rake tomorrow.
67015 will then go on HD02 at Crewe ETD.

67008 connected to HD05

67029 has replaced 67025 on HD06 as @sd0733 had already mentioned.

67020+HD04 reports of sparks from underneath last night so requires an inspection over the pit and 67029+HD06 speedo fault so neither were ready.
Potentially one may go out if ready for when the diagram passes Crewe at 11:30 or 13:10

67013+HD01 on the other Cardiff diagram (will swap locos with 010 after its return to Canton) while 67012+HD03 and 67020+HD04 are planned for Crewe starts.

Sunday should be HD03 on the Cardiff diagram and HD04 on the Crewe, 04 is then planned to stand down for a light exam.

Yes. There will be 2 sets at Cardiff for Monday but 67010+HD01 is planned to be one of them, not sure which is planned spare and which in use yet.

Whilst I was cleaning HD05 today I noticed HD06 had what look like seat reservation tickets in the top of the seats on the loco end coach. Is this something TFW has recently introduced as we've never seen it before?

Power issues on the loco. Reset been carried out which seems to have got it going.
Sadly 029 seems to have been extremely poor since it came back

To be fair, spending so long out of use probably isn't good for it.. still, not ideal!

No probably not. Its actually had recurring issues for years despite lots of work to rectify it, the HEP being a particular issue, it's not known Rough Diamond for nothing!
