Glad to see I'm not the only one sad to see 14235 going. Was always a good'un, even if slightly confused of its identity at times (Did it belong to Kendal or Morecambe? :P)

It was a yo-yo bus between the 2 depots, but it got repainted when it was at morecambe.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Lancaster's new E300s were launched outside Lancaster Uni's new sport centre this morning. 5 E300s were present, 4 of which had 3/4 on the blinds and the fifth showing "Investing in Lancaster" or something similar. A Ribble preservation vehicle was also present and took guests at the launch on a tour around campus.

Later this afternoon the 5 E300s will go into service replacing MANs at South West Campus.

9 will go into service tomorrow as two more still need branding and ME are still expecting the delivery of the last one.

Also noticed as one went past me that window branding has been added to the left sides showing "Working in Partnership with Lancaster University"

Also was told this afternoon that the two MANs that came up from Manchester are for ME. I’m guessing maybe for the X12 in Aug? If they are hopefully they’ll get the whole refurb treatment lol.

Gonna be spot the missing B10 now and i wonder if they are gonna name 27754 "homer simpson".:lol:

47006 was took off service for the second day in a row, it was on 51 again and 47059 replaced it early this afternoon.
At a similar time 47062 was pulled from 50 sounding rather awful, cooling fan was on permanently and was pretty sluggish - thought it was 47753 on when I first heard it this morning! 16734 took over.

22599 was took off 300/302 after suffering damage to its O/S rear corner on its way to/from Whitehaven. Sticky tape was holding the cracked parts together when it arrived back into Workington and 20473 was put on for the remainder of the journey through to Carlisle. A second MAN was also on 300/302 today, while 20994 was short 302.

22609 was the other MAN on 300-302.

34214 on a 600 tonight, left Carlisle (and even through Wigton) showing Cockermouth 601 Connect for Carlisle. It was on some 66's this afternoon. It has had its rear display painted over.
33162 on 62's.

20965 in CE workshops getting a new engine fitted.
47022 in its usual place over the pits, with 34221.

14254 on hire to Stephensons from Ensign Bus (not my picture)

Only the one got swapped at SW Campus
the others wer th 1235 and 1245 3s off me, the 1315 3 off me when it got up to the Chaplaincy Centre and the last was the 1426 ex Battery
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Just been looking back at some old posts and came across a few saying various things are happening to the X1 3 and 4
None of them are, so no idea who came up with them.
The only change to the X1 is that it will be picking up opposite the Railway Station, outside the old County Hotel, happy memories, always a gamble whether the last Euston would make last orders, but I digress, this means it will omit the double loop around Fairfield Rd.
Their will be veryt minor timetable changes to one or two journeys. The only major thingis that the 1756 ex battery to Lancaster will be withdrawn

47022 obviously come back from Penrith during the day then. You sure 34214 was on the 600/601? I passed it on my way to Asda on the 38.

Yep, was heading out of Wigton past Nelson Thom school.

16733 making a very very rare appearance on 47 this afternoon.
47061's rear LED is now working.
20910 and 20913 both 31.

47018 was in Keswick apparently but i dunno what it was doing.

Caldbeck Rambler 73 and 73A Circulars, with a 74 Carlisle - Caldbeck at start of day, and a 74 Caldbeck - Carlisle at end of the day.

16184 has also been on 47's this afternoon. For obvious reasons, they haven't been doing a full route. Unless they're wanting to turn 16184 and 16733 into open toppers

MANs fit fine in Ingleton shed thanks to a B series National being in residence rather than the Leopard.
22116 and 22135 were fetched up from Hyde Rd this am
22101 22118 and 22159 left for Wales

22159 is currently sitting at Leyland...

Now that's an allocation!!!

There is one of the branded Darts sat at Morecambe depot at the moment, 21007 is currently working an 89 at the moment. The decker would have been off Preston and been at fleetwood for the 68 Preston College - Blackpool run from Friday. Although it seems odd that Fleetwood in theory should have plenty of spare vehicles, especially on Sunday with surely the odd Versa would be spare.
20128,31,33/540,4 now withdrawn on the back fence at White Lund. 20547 on 55A's today, appears to be only one or 2 of the new Enviros out working 3A, the 3 being worked by Eric & Ernie and 16661, usually down to high student numbers.

Wonder if they take the LED blinds out of 20128 and 20131 and replace them with older hanover blinds?

I imagine the LED's will be removed. Be interesting to see what they stick them in. 16666 is an obvious choice but that would involve panelling over the side and rear blinds to match the rest of the batch.

For those who are interested here's an example of an ex London Trident that Western have converted:

Pictures not mine. Credit to walkey101, Flickr.

They might stick them into the lo-liners that are staying and just buy the side and rear blinds.

Solo 47494 has lost its Preston North End vinyls and is now in plain Stagecoach livery. I'm sure Preston North Ends relegation to League One has nothing to do with the removal of the vinyls :D

WOULD CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR FARES IN THE CUMBRIA AREA WILL BE REVISED FROM 19TH JUNE 2011.

Most single and return fares will be changed, with some simplification of fare values. This will affect most routes throughout Cumbria, but not within the Barrow town Megarider zone, or the Carlisle City Megarider zone.
Most of our popular Dayrider and Megarider products will be unchanged, but those in West Cumbria and some in the greater Carlisle area will be revised in price. The ever-popular range of Explorer and Megarider Gold tickets will remain unchanged.

Paint was fading near the top of the rear too! Some red was coming through, but nice to see it out and about!

Three MAN's on 300/302 sum up today really - a little unusual!
.... especially when I've just been told that 22608 was on Sellafield 85!!

16124 is the latest Oly to have gained a front LED (was rather overdue one!)

22826 is back from repaint. Front display is so dirty you can barely see the destination and the seats still have the old trim on them.

Don't worry why don't you play for them? You'll get them in the Championship in no time! lol
