Has the 101 left the EVR for SVR now?

It has today, The DMU group have been posting video's of its journey with Allelys from Wirksworth to Kidderminster.

I'm due on the EVR on Sat 21st Sept for Afternoon Tea....will it still be planned for steam or will I get a nice surprise I wonder

Heard that 47 D1842 is returning to Crewe soon. Wonder if any different mainline diesels will be brought in seeing as the 31 is going aswell.

If D1842 does leave it maybe going to another railway but it will also leave 73001 as the only serviceable diesel loco. D9525 and 73210 are being worked on at the moment though.

The 119 has been sold by it's owner and is now due to leave the railway.

80080 has finally exited the shed and is now on the new steam pit. Hopefully this is a sign of it returning to service soon.

Class 14 D9525 entered traffic on Saturday with the first Santa services of the season being top and tailed with the Duke.

The 2025 season will start on the 15th February and will run through every weekend until November.

Typically:
Steam - weekends and peak Fridays
Diesel - some weekends in place of steam and summer Thursdays
DMU - selected weekdays, also early Market Train from Duffield on the first Saturday of the month before running the incline in the day.

Events so far:
Vintage Road and Rail Rally - Sunday 11th May
Back to the 1940's weekend - Friday 13th to Sunday 15th June

Last year it was only advertised on the Facebook page in the week before. It is now listed on the timetable page on the website. I remember correctly it was around 0830-0900 from Duffield.

W55006 is the only working DMU at the moment.

Yes, just had a look, it is listed as running on certain Saturdays, what isn't available is the time it runs!

It was, yes. 121034 in green livery, now owned by LSL.

From March to November, it will depart Duffield at 08:20 on the first Saturday of the month. It runs to bring shoppers form Duffield and beyond to the monthly Wirksworth Artisan Farmer's Market.

I presume Google hasn't been updated since the old Commercial Manager left last year who typically did Wednesday to Sunday.

Normally there is someone in the office in the week and as @Trainman40083 said we are not running today so it will be unlikely anyone is in except for maybe a couple of people in the shed on the loco's.

Thank you..I have tried booking a day (10th May) using a voucher but I'm getting an error message about the code I have so needing to ring them to find out what the issue is and to book over the phone. We had a gift Countryman Afternoon Tea gift bought last Xmas (2023) and was booked to use it in September 2024 but leading up to the day, I injured my back and couldnt walk..I rang them and explained and they cancelled the booking and 'reissued' the voucher so that it wouldnt expire as no more dates were available at that time. I'm wondering if that is the issue but was assured that it would be able to be used in 2025 following the reissue...

To add to the two events above the twin peaks diesel gala will return on April 11th to 13th with Peak Rail.

Over the last few weeks some of the loco's have been getting some attention whilst no passenger services are running. This also includes 33103 which has been out of service for a few years so looks like it will be making a comeback soon.
