Thanks for the clarification, but the dig in bold is just unnecessary. There’s thousands of threads on this forum. I can’t be expected to know all information in every one.
I have to say I am agreement with you here. Plus they would likely all be in the Infrastructure forum, and this thread is in the Rolling Stock forum.

The discussion was in an EWR thread, since it relates to the potential connection from Aylesbury to EWR.

5F68 is indeed 168329.
It has weirdly been put back into the Mainline livery rather than the new Blue livery, although I guess it would need to go to crewe for that?

To me it looks like the hybrid stuff was just vinyl's over the mainline livery

It has not been 'put back' in mainline livery, it simply hasn't been painted yet. Wolverton don't do painting as far as I know.

Given that a couple of 175s have just been sent to Wolverton for painting into GWR livery, I’m not sure that Wolverton ‘don’t do painting’. Plus the Freightliner 66s and 90s and Northern 323s also.

Ok, but they don't do painting for Chiltern. The 165s are going to Doncaster for their refresh program.

Were they going up for the 165 refresh or just general stuff?

See above.

Wolverton do painting, they only a few units off completing the ex 17 WMR 323s for Northern.

Clearly plenty of work still to do before it can return to service.

There is a 5A68 in TRUST scheduled to run from Crewe to Aylesbury on Monday 17th March. Suspect this will be 168003.

I understand it was found to have the same post-refurb teething issues as 003, hence the delay, which shouldn't trouble subsequent units.
I’m sure it probably says a few pages back, but i also feel like it doesn’t. What specifically were the “teething issues”? I know there were engine troubles but was there anything else as well?

I think the company would rather not go into specifics, and I'd like to keep my job.

There is a 168 just passing Banbury on a Crewe - Aylesbury working at the moment, 14:00, not sure which one though.
