The only section of London Overground which is currently part of the scheme is on the Windrush core section. It hasn't been enabled yet.It would be cool if they could do the Hampstead Tunnel to complete data availability on the Mildmay line, although it’s probably not even part of this scheme not being a tube line.
I suppose you could also argue that the tunnel at Kensal Green is another section of the London Overground that's [going to be] covered, although I imagine that's only included because it's on the Bakerloo line. The only section of London Overground which is currently part of the scheme is on the Windrush core section. Idk about you but I suffer from quite strong claustrophobia and that tunnel is actually one of the very few if not the only one in London where it is “normal” for trains to stop for up to 5 minutes. So this has been a massive relief for meOh no! Can confirm that Vodafone has signal also on this stretch. Two things interesting is that I only get 3 bars and also that it’s only 4G, whereas the rest of the network it’s almost always 4 bars of 5G.EE now has reception between Shepherd’s Bush and White City
Yes, every tunnelled section on every LU line, plus the Elizabeth line, even shorter tunnels in what are otherwise open sections, will be covered. Will the Met get signal between Finchley Road and Baker Street (tunnelled sections).
It wasn’t as of this morning! I use it several days a week so I would be very grateful if your rumours were true…I heard a rumour the rest of the Jubilee line north of Westminster is now covered - is that true?
It’s not working on EE anymore. Maybe it was a test or somethingCan confirm that Vodafone has signal also on this stretch. Two things interesting is that I only get 3 bars and also that it’s only 4G, whereas the rest of the network it’s almost always 4 bars of 5G.
Noticed this today too, although (on o2) it was only about halfway between Highbury and KX that my data actually started working to load webpages, despite displaying 4G before that. Might have possibly been my phone acting up though, will have another proper look tomorrow. Didn't get a chance to check northbound as travelled home a different route today.4G only on the Victoria line between Highbury & Islington and King’s Cross, and full 5G between KX and Euston this morning, which seems to be a new addition (wasn’t there yesterday!). It has occasionally been possible to get signal at KX spilling over from Euston, but seems to be the full thing now.
It was all back to normal on Friday when I was up there. No issues watching YouTube between Bond Street and Whitechapel in both directions.Interesting on the Elizabeth line this morning (during the peak) whereby despite saying I had 5G with all bars of signal displaying, there was no signal whatsoever and nothing was loading. I had a look around me and there were at least two other people trying to use the web and nothing was loading for them either. This was beteeen Bond St and Farringdon. When we got to Farringdon it picked up.
I’m wondering if it was just the volume of customers. A LU train and platform is unlikely to have that number of people all in one place at the time whereas the 345s can obviously transport a lot more people. It was all back to normal on Friday when I was up there. Still not working as of today. Not sure if it just EE or they switched it off entirely due to some reasonsIt’s not working on EE anymore. Maybe it was a test or something
Not working on Vodafone either, although it was last week.Still not working as of today. Not sure if it just EE or they switched it off entirely due to some reasons
Vodafone doesn’t have great signal above ground too so no surprise…Not if you're Vodafone!
