I spotted this on a SWT 444, has anyone got any sillier or apparently nonsensical ones?

They're not nonsensical as they serve a purpose, but I used to love the surrealness of the "Tea Point" signs on the Tube. Are they still around?

I used the toilet on a MK4 the other day. After closing and locking the door I noticed a sign on the wall which reminded me to 'Close and lock door before using toilet'. I was quite surprised that they felt people would need reminding of this, but I suppose there's always one person who does...

The sign in the OP is useful if the toilet is in use or out of order.

I'm not sure what the toilets are like on a MK4, but I've frequently seen people use the disabled toilets on Electrostars without locking them. I think people must assume that if the door is automatic then it locks automatically too.

Surely the purpose of the two signs on the 444 is to indicate that the baby change facilities are in a different toilet?

On a train...somewhere!

More than one I would say...they should fit those signs onto Mk3 stock as I've had a number of encounters that I could have lived without in this context!

One at Penistone says trains are for Hudderfield. Nice to see some quality control from Northern's sign makers.

I suppose that's possible. You can do anything to photos nowadays with a bit of image software. Photoshop, Paint.Net, whatever it is you use, you can achieve some very humorous results!!

I wouldn't be surprised if that one was real considering a number of disposable coffee cups carry a warning like "caution: contents hot."

Indeed; I'd always assumed ones like this must be Photoshopped as they are just too silly :)
