Do you know if Grimsby collected any MMCs today?
Believe it was the plan for it today aye. I saw a post in the bustimes.org discord from someone who I believe is a Grimsby driver said they would be collected today. It's about a 6 hour trip so it could be a late one.

From what I've read on Facebook the B7RLEs are now on borrowed time

From what I've read on Facebook this morning (21/4/25), I believe the MMCs have been collected but are not at Grimsby yet, presumably as there is probably a lack of space for them today. A swap of vehicles is due to occur within the week to get them here, although what is being swapped I do not know. I would expect the MMCs are probably at Scunny for the time being.

That makes sense, I've been past the garage again this morning and the MMCs are not there, but as you say the only space available is from the buses that are out on the road.
19195 has arrived from Skegness and is in the rear yard behind 21273.

I have heard that they are currently at Hull

I know they've been gone for a while but what happened to the MMC400s that used to be allocated to Worksop and why were they transferred out? Also seems a number of ex Manchester E400s are now allocated to Worksop Depot including a couple that have still got overall adverts fitted.

Does the Sherwood Arrow services ever get deckers allocated or is it mainly operated with single decks these days?

10664/5/6 are still allocated to Worksop, 2 of them are out today so they're still in use there :)

bustimes.org indicating a raft of service changes in North East Lincolnshire from 1st June with pretty much every service impacted. No details on what new timetables, routes etc are but I'll summarise findings below:

Amended route & timetable: 1,2 & 20; 4, 5, 9 & 10, 11, 12, 50, 53 (towards Mkt Rasen from Grimsby), 250 (towards Barton from Grimsby)
Amended registration to improve punctuality: 6, 7, 8, 53 (towards Mkt Rasen from Lincoln)
Amended registration to amend timetable: 250 (towards Hull from Barton)
No clear change: 3

Will update if/when the changes are on bustimes or in the public domain.

11201 has entered back in to service today in we’ve got you livery

Update 24th April 27636 has today entered service in we’ve got you livery.

Update 29th April
24163 entered service on Friday 25th April in we’ve got you livery.
11742 has been painted into interconnect livery and waiting on branding.
26172 has been also been painted we’ve got you livery. Could this be the start of the end of the ThreeFifty brand?

Don't know about the 350, but in the June timetable changes the 250 is set to interwork with the 51, so it wouldn't make sense to keep the vehicles branded for a route they'll only be on for ⅔ of the time (though in reality they turn up on just about anything anyway!).

The actual timetables no, but route changes yes...

1 & 2 will now both run between Victor Street and Europarc and interwork (1 out, 2 return, our 2 out 1 return);
3 & 4 will have timetable refinements, with the Laceby extensions on the 4 now running in right direction (currently they all go the same way);
5/5M/5S will continue as now on Monday to Saturday daytimes. Evenings and Sundays journeys will be re numbered 45, and extend to Cleethorpes Pier via Ladysmith Road, where they will continue as an 8;
6 & 8 will still interwork as now, with timetable refinements to improve reliability;
9 will run Monday to Saturday evenings and all day Sundays. At these times it will operate to Haven Holiday Park instead of Hewitt's Circus. It will still run to Hewitt's Circus with the 10 on Monday to Saturday daytimes;
11 & 12 will continue to interwork except where some buses get pulled for school duties as now. The 11 will no longer serve Morrisons, but will instead serve Bradley Park replacing the 12 which won't;
20 will now serve Moody Lane and run on Sundays;
53 & 53A will now run via Bargate instead of Hainton Avenue on almost all journeys;
51 & 250 will now interwork in both directions, with through tickets available. Both will also be improved to run hourly all day, and run on Sundays.

Does the 1 still serve Wybers then or is it curtailed at Europarc?

Speaking of the 350, since 26255 is now seen in regular use on that route, since that has an in-built audio visual announcement feature, does anyone have any idea when that'll be configured for the 350?

No, the 1 & 2 will both run just between Europarc and Victor Street (1 via Lord Street, 2 via Corporation Road). Buses working these routes will interwork, changing at each end (1 becomes 2, 2 becomes 1).

The only other change I think I forgot to mention is minor time changes to the 7, to try and avoid stand conflicts in town.

I would imagine the TwoFifty branded Enviro 200 MMCs may be the first to be Grimsby's E200 MMC repaints if it's interworking with the 51, no point having them look off route all the time!

With the change to connect the 250 to the 51, will that mean one of them numbers disappear, also will that mean more double decks over the Humber or mean more singles to louth

The route numbers will still be displayed appropriately for each route. It will work just like other routes that continue as another now (3/4, 6/8 etc).

I would imagine that we'll see more single decks to Louth as a result of this, because if the winds get up it's a long detour to avoid the Humber Bridge! That could be challenging on days where the 51 is busy - many times I've seen deckers looking cosy (and so a single wouldn't be enough) on Louth market days for example - but I guess we'll have to wait and see how the traffic department deal with it in due course.

Seems strange to interwork the 51 and 250 when delays in Hull could affect services to Louth, and vice versa, and the double- single deck issue. A round trip to Louth is two and a half hours and to Grimsby is currently four hours so to interwork comfortably would mean 7 vehicles. Ideally deckers for the Louth service but if high winds cause a problem over the Humber Bridge they could separate them by arrangement on the day using three doubles for the 51 and 5 singles for the 250. But that means having 5 single deckers available for the 250 on windy days. Maybe there are 5 workings on local routes which can be swapped to double deckers on windy days? An odd solution to a problem that doesn’t really exist!

19234 (MX08 GKU) has appeared in Grimsby garage as per the picture below, taken this morning 3rd May. It still carries its temporary Metroline Manchester fleet number TE620 on the front

It's been there a few days, I didn't get round to posting sightings from earlier last week. Still no sign of the MMC deckers mentioned around Easter weekend, but there was a Solo (47735 in new livery I think) in the depot building (last Tuesday).

According to bustimes the batch of MMCs are still in service with West Scotland.
