It's a pretty one off thing though nowadays. Most of the time it's full service unless one breaks down, then a spare is pretty quickly put on to replace it. 822 was guaranteed to be replaced with a volvo as well, probably why the volvo got put on 11 before switching over
"One off" isn't quite the phrase that would spring to mind for the affected bus users. This afternoon we enjoyed almost an action replay of Monday's events - this time involving the 5. Made worse by the remaining vehicle on 5 running about 25 minutes late. At least on Monday Kinch eventually managed to post a 'cancelled' message against affected journeys. Today we had the bizarre situation of Kinchlive promising 3 journeys in the next hour - only the first of which was ever going to materialise.
I do agree things have improved greatly over the last 18 months, but there is still some way to go. At present we seem to be on a permanent knife-edge with passengers being let down far too often.
Other recent gaps in services were 17 February when 11 ran almost all day with just one vehicle, and 13 March when no buses at all ran on the 11 from mid-afternoon. The March event was made worse as - inexplicably - the two buses on 12 were allowed to run nose-to-tail over the same period : in effect delivering only 25% of the timetabled service on 11/12 combined. I am aware of these occasions as they affected journeys attempted by members of my household. I know other odd journeys have been missed, but am unable to say how bad (or good) the overall picture would be. But, judging by bus-stop conversations (there tend to be a lot of these when buses don't turn up) many users are still rather unimpressed, and look forward to the day when "one off" is indeed an apt description when the odd bus doesn't arrive.

I too have family living on the 11 rroute. It's been hopelessly unreliable for many months, to the extent that even the Arriva 127 has been a more reliable alternative.
Because Kinch has a pvr = 16 on Skylink that clearly takes priority over all the town routes.

An interesting phrase "passengers being left down far too often". Over time, there is a reaction if the problem is not dealt with in a timely manner (rather than the issue drifting for years). Many passengers will find alternatives. Not everyone will involve them using their car. But if they do use their car, then the traffic gets worse, delaying buses further. Where I live, the last few years have seen a sharp drop off in passengers. Okay, post COVID, we see more Internet shopping, on line banking, local shopping, working from home. You could say a high percentage of those are fare paying passengers. That then affects the profitability of the route, then investment. No bus operator is going go to get rich on ENCTS passengers.

Former H1 then X38 Volvo 733 is now debranded and "helping out" on the Swift today.

I understand that i4 Enviro 200MMC 130, had an incident with a car on Nottingham Road on Monday. Not sure of the extent of the damage to the bus, but early the TICKET MACHINE is appearing on other Nottingham based routes.

Optare Versa 816 made an appearance on route 32, Derby to Ilkeston earlier. Now in the bright red Trentbarton livery, ex Threes orange livery.

Could we expect 810 and 813 to be out in red shortly? I believe they’re all the ones that got sent back from TM travel but haven’t been seen since? Or are there alternate plans for these?

813s being used as a trainer currently, still orange with TM logos on still when I saw it the other day, just with L plates on the front and the blind (probably the back too, but I didn't check)

Another trentbarton bus has gone up in flames. Cotgrave branded 143 this evening. Reports all over Facebook but no "official" sources just yet

The really good bus company strikes once again… that’s the 3rd major ADL fire now.

Nottingham depo won't have many buses left at this rate as all the spare buses will be in use plus the engineering department will be getting a roasting

Give it a few months, and there will be plenty spare red ex Kinchbus. But at the moment they are also missing i4 130. Maybe ADL are sending a subtle message "Should have bought the Volvo".

Whenever I've sat at the back of a E200 MMC it always feels very hot from underneath

All these spring to mind as fairly recent fires. Have I missed any off?
There was one more minor one, but i can't exactly remember which bus it was
