I think it is the ME1, just in the Moorsbus fold, given we have other Moorsbus routes.
The map on the Moorsbus website says the M1 goes via Driffield, which the ME1 didn’t. Looks like the M1 is a full Moorsbus route too unlike the ME1 so Moorsbus day tickets will presumably now be valid from end to end.

2 brand new E200MMCs arrived today, both in plain white.

YY25 DOA
YY25 DOH (sorry initial stated as DOB)

Unsure of where these are for as the 2 transfers (YX23 OTB and YX23 OTC) a few weeks ago from B&H group were permanent moves, although initially marked as loans.

Rumour is for the X45, but no official confirmation.

There was an article in a local newspaper about it a month or so ago:
East Yorkshire Buses have announced three brand-new buses will be introduced to the X45 route between Market Weighton and York later this year. These vehicles will replace older buses that were originally used to launch the service.

At the end of April, the X45 will be extended beyond Market Weighton to Driffield, replacing the 145 service. This extension is delivered with financial support from East Riding of Yorkshire Council, funded by the UK Government. The change will create a direct and easy-to-understand route from York to Driffield, improving accessibility and simplifying journeys for thousands of passengers.

Although it's now May and the X45 still changes into the 145 in Market Weighton and vice versa. Any news on if/when this change is actually coming?

The X45/145 needs 4 buses to run it, as it's just shy of 2 hours each way ... so maybe it's 3 brand new buses plus the two transfers, to give 4 buses in service and 1 spare?

The 2 previous transfers are for the 20 P&R service in Hull.

There may be a total of 4 brand new E200s on the way, but as it stands there’s only 2 at Anlaby Road depot at the moment

On a typical day, the X45/145 uses 3 Centros and 1 Decker (usually an EvoSeti) so I imagine that the 3 E200s are to replace the Centros.

The other 2 new E200MMCs are YY25DOJ and YY25HZB. The 2 that arrived yesterday are YY25DOA and DOH

20773 failed near Hebden on the 822 today, apparently there was a replacement bus sent, anyone know when that arrived into York and Pocklington? Had to walk from Fountains Abbey to Ripon and pick up the 36 to Harrogate and get a train. First time for everything I suppose! Felt sorry for the driver who would've already been tired and hoping to get back to Pocklington on time!

It's a shame that they moved the X46/X47 fleet to Hull – it was great when they had the Enviro 400MMCs on the Dalesbus run, but now that the only double-deckers they've got in Pocklington are these older Volvos, I guess the risk of them struggling to cope with such a demanding route is higher.

Pity you presumbly did not know in time to catch the 825 instead

That was my exact thought the entire time! Checked around the time the 822 was due, the 825 had already left unfortunately. In the future, I'll check before the 825 arrives.

Pocklington has EvoSetis which they never seem to use on the 822, its always the Geminis.

Given EYs experience of using them on the 128, I'm not surprised they don't use them on the Dalesbus.

Well, 20773 was back out today so the problem must've been fixed. Although it hasn't strayed to far from Depot today, mostly operating the Pocklington Town Service (197), as well as a short 747 to Full Sutton, two School Services and a 199 from Huggate.

From the early experience that Transdev had with B5s on The 36 and Coastliner, if they haven't had remedial work then they might not be the best buses to use either!
I think this post in another thread sums up the earlier EvoSetis as well:
MCV have clearly upped their game then as the build quality of our 66 and 67 reg Evosetis is terrible. I drove one of the 67 plates when it was a fortnight old and thought it would fall apart

I wonder how much EY’s standard of routine maintenance is a factor….the E400 MMC’s on the X46/47 are only a few years old and it’s not uncommon to see one broken down.

A lot of operators are increasing prices at the moment, linked to the recent increase in National Insurance costs

That means the Hull Card weekly ticket valid on both EY and Stagecoach is now 20p than the EY only weekly, with the same validity area. Bonkers.
So it’s 5.70 for both, I been thinking it was 5.50. Still a rip off considering prices in Manchester and West Yorkshire etc

Hearing 348 won’t be returning on the road, having not been out since early March - apparently got big engine issues.
Either be scraped like 346 and 353 were or sold on for parts.

It’s currently on the lift so there maybe some hope for it yet.
