It’s supposedly getting a new engine, the second hand engine it has got in has finally seized up, it’s in the part of the garage where engines are fitted so fingers crossed.I suspect 348 will go soon either way to be honest given the age of it
We start it at the church, so stick your arm out in the village and we'll stop.Hello, long time lurker on this thread, but first post. I've been trying to contact EY since Wednesday to no luck, i do find it quite rubbish that with such a large company it's impossible to speak to anyone.
Does anyone know if Service 196 picks up in Allerthorpe Village, at the Main Road stop?
The timetable booklet says 'Allerthorpe,' same as the 195, so i would have assumed it does.
Tracking also begins in the main village:
Vehicles – 196 – bustimes.org
bustimes.org
However on the EY website & BusTimes it shows 'Low Farm' as being the first stop, a bit outside allerthorpe, so what do people think?
Google Maps also shows 'Low Farm' as being the first stop, however on the 'Main Road' stop there is a picture of the 196?.

If anyone knows it would be much appreciated, thank you!!
Been out all day today so would have been only a minor defect, obviously it’s much easier to change over buses on a Sunday784 broken down again !!!
We knew about the 3 EastRider ones replacing the Centros. (I actually like driving the Centros, so will miss them). The North Riding one is a surprise, and we don't know what's happening with it. Was on the new one this afternoon. No rattles!Regarding the four new MMCs, a photo has been uploaded to Flickr of the four of them in new liveries. DOA, DOH and DOJ all wear a new variation to the "Eastrider" livery, with DOA (fleet number 20302) already tracking on the X45/145 today, so will be replacing the Centros (20364, 20365, 20366) currently used on the X45/145. But HZB is shown wearing "North Riding" vinyls, could HZB be replacing the decker on the 80 during the day whilst the other MMC is on the 31X? With the decker remaining at Pocklington for school services and running some short routes around Pocklington (46, 195, 196, 197, 199, 747) during the day between these school services? Could this then allow for the late afternoon 31X journey to also run during term time?
Am I right in saying that 2 of the Eastrider ones are for Pocklington and the other 1 is for Bridlington? Will the Centros just go off for scrap or will they be cascaded elsewhere at EY?We knew about the 3 EastRider ones replacing the Centros
I’d say they’re all in dealer stock white with vinyls applied to save painting. Seems to be becoming a thing with a variety of operators to take this approach now.Regarding the four new MMCs, a photo has been uploaded to Flickr of the four of them in new liveries. There is 516 been parked in hull for a bit maybe swap that but don’t know why hull would want mini busesWe knew about the 3 EastRider ones replacing the Centros. For repairs perhaps? There is 516 been parked in hull for a bit maybe swap that but don’t know why hull would want mini buses
I believe the Centros have transferred to Hull, though given the age of them it wouldn't surprise me if they go when the electric buses arriveAm I right in saying that 2 of the Eastrider ones are for Pocklington and the other 1 is for Bridlington? Yes, a new something big. Lost track of what. For repairs perhaps?

The Evoras are due in July, as for the NX vehicles it's anyone's guess. Last I heard was 3 at the end of next month with the others coming at the back end of the year, but it's all gone quietlatest updates show 392 returning to hull
Does anyone know if the new evora buses that were ordered are coming soon as well as the remaining national express buses please
