Anyone had their computerised tests / MMI recently? I feel prepared enough but I am curious as to what the majority have worn to these things. Smart casual for comfort during the computerised testing but also thinking I might even pass these and get the MMI, in which case a suit might be the best.
I wore chinos, and a jumper, didn’t even bother with a shirt or smart shoes. Passed, so obviously wasn’t an issue

Has anyone who sat stage 1 last Monday (28/4) had any results yet?
I sat 1st stage on 14th April and found out results on 23rd April. Monday was a bank holiday so maybe a little slower this time around? I had my DMI last Wednesday but not heard back as of yet. Good luck for results!

Cheers, I thought, smart jeans / chinos would be fine. As long as I don't tun up in a Borat thong I will be fine

Hi can anyone who has had to resit the 2nd assessments and or mmi tell me how they applied? Do you send an email on the date you can reapply from, or do you have to wait until an advert comes out again? Thanks

Hello. Did you hear back re medical please, I've emailed on Monday but I haven't heard back just yet.
Was told after a few emails that there’s no positions at my depot just now so placed in a pool until one becomes available. No medical until then unfortunately

Same with me, 2nd June start (well 29th for the induction). No contract yet. I do know someone starting on Thursdays induction who only got their contract 10 days ago, so hopefully we will get ours at the end of the week.

Anyone been allocated to yoker recently on this thread? My depot was meant to be Glasgow central but got an email Tuesday last week saying it’s changed to yoker.

Just curious to see if anyone has started recently/ or waiting to start in yoker.

Feel free to DM me if you prefer.

Hey all, I just heard back that I passed my DMI and am now moving on to the 2nd set of assessments and MMI interview.

I managed to get the tests off of a legend in here and I've been practicing them. Finding the ball and track and concentration test easy enough but the photo memory oones a bit hit or miss so I'm spending more time on that.

Any advice on MMI interview from anyone who has been recently would be really appreciate. The advice I got for DMI on here was brilliant and really helped

Thank you.
Seems like it's how scotrail does it and I should be good.

Hi all

Got my DMI next week, and wondering if anyone has any hints or tips for it? The email given only mentioned a series of competency and situation based questions

Cheers in advance

Afternoon guys.

This one will sound silly, but I can't get it out my head so thought I'd ask. I've got my medical next week and have a provisional start date. Part of the medical requests that I bring my glasses prescription with me.

Now, the paranoid part of my brain is now thinking, will wearing glasses go against me? Thinking about the drivers at my local depot, I've never seen any wearing glasses. I'm long sighted, slightly.

Would this jeopardize my place?

You’ll be fine. I have glasses and pasted the medical without my glasses even though I need them 24-7.
No issues at all

Nope it won't go against you at all, in fact if you DONT bring your glasses and subsequently fail the vision element of the medical, then that's worse than bringing them with you and passing the vision test. I passed the vision test for mine but my right eyes vision was worse than my left eye and I was advised to get glasses anyway. Wearing glasses absolutely will not count against you though, don't worry about that.
